Great video, what a treat. I had the pleasure of living and working on Captiva back in the early 80’s. They gave us housing back then, took it out of our paycheck. My memories of Captiva have lasted a lifetime. I have only been back once. Sanibel/Captiva is a very special place. Thanks for doing this update of Sanibel.
Hi! Just an fyi to people who may watch this video, there are way more than 10 places that are available to rent on Sanibel! I know this since we have a beachfront condo there that has been available for rent since last spring. However, we sell out pretty regularly due to the high demand of people wanting to vacation on Sanibel. Not sure how you searched, but if you look on VRBO or Air BnB there are a ton of available places to stay. You do have to book in advance though! And the island has come so far since the storm! We have been there about 5 or 6 times since then and can't believe how beautiful it is now! Glad you enjoyed your time there - sounds like you love Sanibel as much as we do! All the best.
