I add this comment in memory of Troy McGee. Troy and I play baseball together as little leagers. When Troy was 12, he struck by a car, and his young life full of dreams came to an end. Made me sad when it happened and makes me sad every time I here little lies.it must have been on the radio when I was given the news. As I associate this song with his death. R.i.P. my friend.

Yeah, I think that was a traumatic thing in my life as a kid, that I shall never forget. I'd say that's why I banned skateboarding, and bicycles with my kids. Crazy how a song can makes a memory alive. Everything , from the way things looks to me, too the smells in the air. This happened in 1987, 35, 33 years ago this May.

if i'm not mistaken i recorded this with a canon sx700, sx700hs, something like that. recall it had a 30x optical zoom. newer model last i checked was a 40x or so. i doubt they've improved sound input options though

Sound is very poor, and video isn't much better - all over th' place and very erratic ...did someone capture this on an iPhone or something?... the bass drum really played too big a roll on the audio, to put it mildly...
+Charlie Brown Yes, hahaha, someone (me) captured it on something, not on an iPhone. I wish I could have better sound recording plus a tripod to keep it all stable, but alas there are rules against that sort of thing... and usually rules against recording at all, so what you see/hear is what you get. With a good headset you might be able to tolerate the sound, for the erratics... dramamine? Cheers =)

This is the only one of their songs that they can't get right live. . . my fave son by The Mac but it's rubbish live. . my opinion x x
Melissa Wright I feel ya, especially if it's your fave song. personally I love the live versions... mainly just cos it's them in the flesh, organic, and just a bit different than the produced recording. My brother saw the Mac previously without Christine and these songs were horrible live, so I consider myself lucky. I really do love The Mac, they are amazing. It's just that I LOVE Little Lies so I suppose I expect it to be equal to the studio version on stage. Of course you can never get a song perfect on stage. Oh I don't know, I just feel they do a really good job singing their other songs live but just not as much this one x x
Melissa Wright I think my brother felt exactly the same as you... that live sucks compared to the record version. But at this show he heard some of his favorites arranged differently (eg Never Going Back Again) and it won him over in the end. Love it when these artists improvise a little and twist the classics around. Wish they would make a live recording of this tour and sell it... my record sound doesn't do them justice. =)
