    This is the best explanation of the Crocodile Stitch! I like the extra slip stitch in between each "scale" because it really helps the scale lay flat. I'm working on a project with this stitch in the round and your video really helped me! Thanks!

    TY! My daughter has been dying for a pair of the "Dragonscale Fingerless Gloves" that you see all over Pinterest. I finally understand this stitch enough to try a pair for her for Yule!

    There are several UA-cam demonstrations for the crocodile stitch and I've some of them, but this one is by far easier to do. Thank you for this!

    Can someone PLEASE explain to me why you would make twice as many v stitches as you would actually use???? Is it just a shorthand to prevent the material from being intolerably thick?? I ask because I've seen versions that use all of the created v stitches on each row, where they somehow use the first row staggered as she shows, then the second row is shown to utilize the skipped stitches
