This is the best explanation of the Crocodile Stitch! I like the extra slip stitch in between each "scale" because it really helps the scale lay flat. I'm working on a project with this stitch in the round and your video really helped me! Thanks!
TY! My daughter has been dying for a pair of the "Dragonscale Fingerless Gloves" that you see all over Pinterest. I finally understand this stitch enough to try a pair for her for Yule!
I love this tutorial! I have made so many things just by watching your croc stitch! Thank you! It really makes understanding this crazy stitch super easy!!!!
Hi Ashleigh, I've been sifting through crocodile stitch tutorials and yours is the best by far ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best for the finished look of the stitch and best for a clear easy to follow tutorial. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm just off do unravel the project I started and redo it 'your way'!Thank you so much for sharing 🤗
OMG, you make it so easy now I can't wait to try it! I have a 3 year old grandson who would love something cool looking that he can put on to "scare" everyone. Thank you!
Omg, thank you so much for this video. I purchased your dragon tears glove pattern and was so confused. This makes it so much clearer. And, you are so easy to understand! Thank you!
This is the best video. I have watched at least 15 different videos trying to learn this stitch and this is the only video that didnt confuse me. THANK YOU💙💙💙💙
Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial I was having a hard times understanding how to do this with a written pattern but now I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND 😊 So thank You so very much!
Thanks so much for sharing your stitch 😊. I have been pulling my hair out to try to get this stitch 😢. Finally your video and description has me on the right road 😅
Thank you so much for explaining this in great detail and taking the time to show, after each round, what it's supposed to look like. That makes it so much easier for me to follow!
Thanks for this great tutorial! I'm linking it in my video I am releasing tomorrow afternoon for my Game of Thrones inspired bucket bag tutorial! The video footage I shot was corrupted so I'll be sending some people your way to learn from this video :)
Can someone PLEASE explain to me why you would make twice as many v stitches as you would actually use???? Is it just a shorthand to prevent the material from being intolerably thick?? I ask because I've seen versions that use all of the created v stitches on each row, where they somehow use the first row staggered as she shows, then the second row is shown to utilize the skipped stitches
I do not have a video for a bag, but here is the link to a post for a bag pattern that I have that uses this stitch: hearthookhome.com/dragon-tears-3-in-1-purse-crochet-pattern/
The best croc tutorial on YT imo.

There are several UA-cam demonstrations for the crocodile stitch and I've some of them, but this one is by far easier to do. Thank you for this!

How much stretch does it have?
Can I copy this pattern
What size of hook did you use for this?
I used an I/5.5mm for this tutorial.
Lovely video! I was planning on making matching dice bags for the dnd group but the pattern was Greek. The little footsteps in the back made me giggle
Very Nice
