Glad to see this today. A consolation prize since I couldn’t make it up to see you and Luke. Really appreciate all the work you and the team put in Dom.
THANK YOU. I appreciate that. It's cool to see how it all changes through the year. And the transition seasons are almost like their own distinct season. It a way, it's like their are eight seasons for fishing. Cheers.
Right on. Glad you asked. Here ya go . . . Full video on Splitting the Rod. It surprises me that this isn't more common. ua-cam.com/video/4JIZUJbtCco/v-deo.html Cheers.
Thanks so much…after leaving two of my rods out the small rear window of my F-150 traveling between fishing spots, it started to sprinkle and without hesitating I closed the rear window to the sound of crunching fly rod tips 😢….but after contacting both manufacturers, I was able to replace them at a very affordable price…my Fly Rod Tips thank you 😂
Excellent video. Last weekend, 50 degree day brought on a small bwo hatch on the tully, around size 20-24. Least i think they were bwo. No rises to be seen. Either way spanish bullet nymphs was the fly of the day. Great video & keep them coming. Fish on!
Another great video guys. When are you guys going to do a drop shot nymphing video.Would like to see how you guys tackle it.keep up the good work.Cheers
Thanks. Good idea. I'll put that on the list. In the meantime, here's a four part Troutbitten series specifically on drop shot nymphing on a tight line. troutbitten.com/2022/04/13/drop-shot-nymphing-on-a-tight-line-rig/
@@Troutbitten Got it! I'm up in Maine and the pointers are very helpful. Unfortunately, we do not have many rivers/streams that are open to legal fishing in the winter but i'll be on them.

Thanks, Mike. Missed you out there today.
Enjoying the less formal format. Fishing is fun!
For sure. Thank you.
I’m with you Dom. If a fish is continuously rising, you gotta go for it. Great video as always fellas. Great content, beautiful scenery and well shot.
That's nice, man. Thank you.
Really interesting idea- going through the watershed and talking trout habits through the seasons. Nice work!

Ha. Me too. But it's already bringing some new complications.
Josh is always catching the fish
Only some days. :-)
Love the way you break your rod down to walk; any tips you can point to us on how you do that? Maybe a previous video? Technique is everything

It's ok to call it a bobber....exactly what the function is....
Firmly agree. Yes. We have no pretense about fly fishing at Troutbitten.
What State are you in?
