This is like the 10th video I’ve watched from you and I just couldn’t stop laughing. I think your recent posts are more serious and intellectual-which drew me, but I got a kick out of this one. You were on a roll! I’m still chuckling how you liked the way the organic mask aggressively closed your eyes “like a corpse bride”. Love those glasses on you by the way. Btw, I am planning on doing a dermatology residency. I know it is very difficult to get into but I will try and if I don’t get it, I will do FM and then do a cosmetic dermatology certification or something. Dr. Dray you inspire me so much.
That neighborhood looks so cute. I actually just tried the chik-fil-a wrap sans chicken. I asked for a few different dressings and it was pretty good! Thank you for showing us your drugstore moisturizer picks. I will definitely be picking one up this weekend. I've spent so much money on expensive moisturizers with subpar experiences. Just so I'm clear on it. You can moisturize before using benzoyl peroxide? I was under the impression it had to be used on dry skin for awhile before moisturizing. No?
That is how i do it and find it minimizes irritation

Is hot yoga which is 90+ degrees plus use of humidifiers ok for your skin? I love! I do struggle from hormonal cystic acne. Ok for skin breakouts?????
can flare rosacea; prolonged humidity can make acne worse as well (aka tropical acne)

Welcome ablacktiedaffair, so glad to have you here! Honestly mitigating UV exposure is so key to wrinkle prevention. UVA activates enzymes in the deep layer of the skin that break up collagen (matrix metalloproteinases) and contribute to wrinkles. Wearing a broad brimmed hat and clothing with a tight weave is a good approach. Check out coolibar line of products. There is also some evidence that drinking from a straw may contribute to wrinkles around the mouth. Lastly, retinol based creams are helpful for improving the look of photo aged skin and can strengthen the deeper layer of the skin, improving the look of wrinkles...also can help decrease skin cancer formation. You can talk to your doctor about if a prescription retinoid cream for wrinkles would be right for you. Neutragena makes an over the counter version as well, but the prescription cream it what is most well studied and known to be effective for improving the look of photo aged skin and decreasing skin cancer formation. Hope this helps!

Hi. I am Olivia, from Paraguay; long time Houston resident. My mom was a dermatologist. She passed away in March at 99. Back in her day, before MRIs and all the paraphernalia a lot of major diseases were detected first by the skin condition. She was a leprosy specialist.

Hello from Canada. Recent subbie and catching up with your videos. So, at this time of year (December), it’s dark when I go to work in the morning (8am) and dark when I leave (4pm). This may be a silly question but, really no reason to put sunscreen right? Other than keeping the good habit going...🤷♀️

I've worked 12 hr. night shifts for about 15 years. Sleep is a major subject at work and how to best get more than 4 hours before you go to work again. Any advice when I should use my Retin-A, Differin, and Lac-Hydrin?. My room is not dark when I sleep but by the time I leave for work it's dusk and when I come home it's barely dawn. I'm never in the sun to use sunscreen and yes, I have a major vit-D deficiency.
