That'll be one of the loudest combinations you can have. If it becomes too much we do offer resonated front pipes separately as well as conversion kits to go from your Track Edition to a Touring. That way you always have options :)
Our Camaro systems eliminate the valves from the OE system. Touring is wide-open, tuned straight pipes and the Touring features our drone canceling, tone enhancing 180 Technology. This give the Camaro a mellow idle and drive by but allows ferocity when you punch it.

We ran the Touring on our SS 1LE and it was solid. A company favorite. It mellows out on cold starts after the initial burst to life and has no drone in the cabin. It has a slightly more refined tone as well, but is a straight through configuration that makes the same power as the Track.
I am very interested in this exhaust but i cannot find an in depth video of this exhaust non-resonated track edition for ZL1. Im sure it sounds much different due to being supercharged. Do you have any videos available so i can truly see the difference?????
Hey, Lance. There are quite a few ZL1 videos out there, especially on Camaro6.com. The Track Edition and Touring Edition will sound virtually the same from outside of the cabin as the Touring Edition is a straight-through design that does not utilize traditional packing methods in the rear cans, rather are patented 180 Technology resonators are pack-less.
@@EscapeFPs both AT and MT. Depends the person, but its proven by science that the Touring Edition don't drone at all as the interior is as refined as it is with the stock exhaust.
Exhausts don't produce burbles, they just allow them to be heard. If the motor wants to crackle and pop, you'll hear it. Every motor has a sweet spot in the range where it'll backtalk when coaxed.
Wait, so that fluttering sound at the end of the rev sounds is normal? I have this exahust on my 2021 ZL1 and I thought it was maybe a leak. I recently posted a video. Please AWE, can you tell me what that fluttering is?
Negative. The valves wiring in the rear can remain unplugged. Automatic SS cars have AFM valves in their systems which can be remedied by our AFM Valve Simulators.

From outside of the cabin, not by much. Within the cabin, yes, as you may be subject to drone with the Track Edition. The Touring Edition, however, does not drone even with secondary deletes.
It's going to be very rowdy (and insanely aggressive). Consider the Touring Edition -- it will be nearly just as aggressive while helping keep it comfortable in the cabin at highway speeds. Check @the_r3dbull on IG.
Can only speak for the track edition, non-resonated with link pipes...its loud! Super loud but makes the Camaro sound like it should. Some drone in lower gears but in 5th and 6th it quiets down yet reminds you that you are driving a powerful machine! Two thumbs up here! Do it!!!! 2017 ZL1 here...

If you have LTHs in the mix, we recommend Resonated Touring Edition. The resonators help with the rasp introduced by the LTHs, and 180 Technology keep drone in check and produces the signature note (in tandem with our precision x-pipe).

But I'm going to be doing the awe non resonated track setup on my camaro and will likely post a before and after video. If it turns out to be too raspy I might have to add a resonator. But hopefully not

It does fit, @@skater20004, but you will need to figure out how to go about making your AFM valves satisfied. We do not recommend CBEs on the autos for this reason.
Pretty significant difference. The ABE's are actually a bit rowdier than our full CBEs due to the differences in geometry between our 3" X-pipe mid section vs the factory's mid section. Our mid section results in much more of refined, smoother note.

I can deal with drone, as long as it's not constant at all rpms. With the Borla the drone was at a specific speed and rpm, so all I had too do was drive 1 or 2 mph over that too rid myself of the drone. Is your constant or at at specific speeds?
@@robbyrockets1 Keep in mind this is straight pipe in the rear, whereas I would presume your aforementioned kit has mufflers of some sort. Our Touring Edition doesn't drone at any speed, but the Track may at certain RPM for you.
We recommend the axlebacks due to your AFM valves. The catback would fit, of course, but the vehicle won't like the AFM valves being removed unless you applied an aftermarket solution to delete the "need" for them.
Yes, thus why we only recommend/offer axlebacks for Automatic cars. If one wishes to install a catback on an automatic, it will fit and sound awesome, but you're on your own regarding a method of making the valves/ECU happy. With that said, if a catback is installed, the AWE No CEL Guarantee and 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee are void, but the warranty against manufacturer defect is still intact. Hope that helps.
All u gotta do is leave the gear in place and plugged in so it still rotates just zip tie it outtakes the way only downside is when it goes into afm it will sound weird but they sell an 100dollar obd2 plugin to turn off the afm

Hi, Paul. The resonated mid pipes would certainly help take the edge off, but if you're truly worried about drone -- I'd suggest strongly considering the Touring Edition.
8 speed auto is not bad because of the tall gearing, 6 speed a little more prevalent. If you get the track Edition Cat-Back, you can select the Resonated Mid-pipe option (our mid pipe is an X-Pipe btw) and that will cut back on the raspiness of the system. Our favorite is the Touring Cat Back which is quieter at idle and moderate throttle inputs, has no drone and a more refined tone, but is definitely aggressive under full throttle. Hey,@@iansumner4132. Essentially, from the outside of the vehicle, they sound very similar. The difference is interior refinement -- the Touring Edition does not drone whereas a driver could potentially experience drone within the cabin with the Track Edition. The resonated variants, compared, would ultimately render the same result. It literally comes down to whether you want to be subjected to drone or not.

I am not 100 percent sure of the drone we are talking about, but if it's loudness at 2100-2400 rpms while cruising? then I already have that and it's not the end of the world. My most important question... is the Track edition deeper???? I have run the two videos side by side, and it seems like it. Does the SS have something to do with it? I have searched far and wide for videos and every ZL1 sounds different even with the same setups. The orange crush 2019 ZL1 1LE Phastek did recently sounds different in the 4 videos I have seen of the car (fully aware of microphones and phone differences). It sounds great, just want a tiny bit deeper tone. The loudness is great. Thats why I asked if there was a difference. According to your chart on your website, there is a 1 level difference between the resonated track and the non resonated touring. I also appreciate you taking the time. Unfortunately we don't have any NPP compatible/valved options for Camaros.

What would be the difference in these and doing a muffler delete and dual tips. Getting my 2021 LT1 next Friday.
This is a full 3" catback configuration with a bespoke X-pipe that is much more tailored for the motor. Smoother, cleaner, much more aggressive sound.

In our sound testing we found the X-pipe was much smoother and deeper sounding than factory as well as H-pipes we tested.

No drone with stock headers and cats in place and the Touring edition. It's the setup to consider if drone is a concern!

8 speed auto is not bad because of the tall gearing, 6 speed a little more prevalent. If you get the track Edition Cat-Back, you can select the Resonated Mid-pipe option (our mid pipe is an X-Pipe btw) and that will cut back on the raspiness of the system. Our favorite is the Touring Cat Back which is quieter at idle and moderate throttle inputs, has no drone and a more refined tone, but is definitely aggressive under full throttle. The touring system seems not as deep in tone as the track edition, is that true? I would prefer the deeper of the two.
My next question is... is the RESONATED track edition similar in loudness to the NON-RESONATED touring edition? About how much difference in loudness would the track edition exhaust be, and how much louder?
I want a deeper tone exhaust like my Flowmaster 40 series on my 2010 SS, but I love your guys black tips and system set up and certainly looking into your systems.
Hey,@@iansumner4132. Essentially, from the outside of the vehicle, they sound very similar. The difference is interior refinement -- the Touring Edition does not drone whereas a driver could potentially experience drone within the cabin with the Track Edition. The resonated variants, compared, would ultimately render the same result. It literally comes down to whether you want to be subjected to drone or not.
@@awetuning cool. That settles my volume issue. I am not 100 percent sure of the drone we are talking about, but if it's loudness at 2100-2400 rpms while cruising? then I already have that and it's not the end of the world.
My most important question... is the Track edition deeper???? I have run the two videos side by side, and it seems like it. Does the SS have something to do with it? I have searched far and wide for videos and every ZL1 sounds different even with the same setups. The orange crush 2019 ZL1 1LE Phastek did recently sounds different in the 4 videos I have seen of the car (fully aware of microphones and phone differences). It sounds great, just want a tiny bit deeper tone. The loudness is great. Thats why I asked if there was a difference. According to your chart on your website, there is a 1 level difference between the resonated track and the non resonated touring.

My pleasure, @@iansumner4132. Well, the ZL1 is supercharged, so boost always has some sort of influence in how gas exits the vehicle. With that said, I cannot say one is deeper over the other -- they're that similar.

Negative. The exhaust does not interfere with any emissions equipment and valve connections are accommodated with simulators.
