People underestimate how physically strong he became. People always used to call him weak.
At 35 I went shoulder to shoulder with one of the strongest and fastest defenders of the time, Gvardiol and he couldn't get him off the ball. Messi kept his balance and gave one of his greatest assists in his career.
He's done the same thing throughout his career, fending off physically much stronger defenders and keeping his balance. His balance is incredible.

When someone says that you lack natural skills to do something they can take Ronaldo as an example. With hardwork you can also become one of the best in your business. De no hacerse ese tratamiento hormonal creo que nadie sabría quien es Leonel Messi a día de hoy. La baja estatura que tenia por aquel entonces amenazaba su carrera como futbolista profesional.

If you see Brazil, they're playing football in the favelas or in the beach whitout any shoe, if you see Argentina, we're playing football in the "potreros" (fields where the children play with their friends, mostly in bad conditions). As you can see, we play in not really good fields, in difficult conditions, because of that we develop a physical game and we have to be doubly better (speaking about technics), to overcome obstacles.

Hasta el 2006 (año en que gano la Champions) su rendimiento era una locura, pero despues se fue a pique su rendimiento. Decian que antes de los partidos formaba orgias con prostis y hasta se emborrachaba; tambien tenia sobrepeso porque no entrenaba y se la pasaba comiendo. Es verdad que despues gano la libertadores, pero seamos sinceros, la Libertadores tiene un nivel inferior al de la Conference League, para un jugador como Dinho aunque este gordo eso es pan comido
