Tip: If you do this, and it ends up being to small, get a bowl with ice cold water + some ice cubes, put 1 cup hair conditioner in the bowl, and then put the shirt in, it will end of getting a little bigger :)
Just some notes for myself 0:19 Put clothes in sink 0:22 Boil water on the stove in a teapot or a pot 0:30 when the water is boiling, pour it in your clothes 0:39 let clothes sit until the hot water is cool 0:52 ring out your clothes a little bit 1:05 Put your clothes in the washing machine with the hottest setting possible. After put them in the dryer on hottest setting
Guys this actually works really well! I ordered my clothes for cheer camp a size too big so I quickly did this and my clothes fit soooo much better now!
This depends on the fabric. Polyester fabrics will start to melt around 230°F. Boiling water is 220°F. So I recommend letting that water cool off for a couple of minutes. Then put it in the dryer for 10-15 minute intervals on the highest heat setting. Make sure your dryer is not going to be over 180°F though. Polyester is a plastic and can melt. Even if it's a polyester/cotton blend I would still keep a close eye on it. Do one garment by itself. When putting in washing machine turn the garment inside out. No detergent is necessary.
It worked! I bought a polyester top online to wear at a Christmas party but the size I chose was way too big. I tried this method and the top shrank considerably. Thanks, you're a life saver 😊

I did wash the hoodie how I’d normally wash my clothes just to see if that’d shrink it any first but it didn’t so I followed what she did without soaking it in boiling water beforehand and my hoodie did end up shrinking some. Not as much as I hoped but it also may just be how the company I bought the hoodie from makes their clothing!

Some clothing brands and garments are pre-washed so it won’t get much smaller. Some brands do advertise this but it’s probably the case that this one wasn’t 👍

WABEHD No in the v20.19 update it was patched. Maybe if you find the v20.15 file you can copy and paste it in the UPDATES.fil folder and it might send you to an earlier update

The boiling point of water at sea level is 212°F. Did you sleep through that class? Also, polyester melts at 260°C (that's 500°F).

Most flannels are made of twill and aren’t stretchy... so the chances are that it would only be a temporary fix.

you can only stretch it out yourself if you want, but that also might not work so I'd say they stay shrunken forever if you will...
