Ed allegedly pissed Dave off by doing this project . There was sposed to be some pact or something that no-one would do work outside the band . Ed got away with doing some playing for Nicolette Larson because Teddy Templeman asked him to play guitar for her . I have heard Dave wasn't that happy about the Beat It song .
EVH was great but there is no better,more stylish or innovative player than Brian,I still hear lots of hidden bits especially on Queen 2.The chemistry and fate just clicked for there four,the same as when McCartney met John Lennon who happened to be on the wrong bus..........
