Gregor, Thank you too much for such a fantastic video. We can't wait untill we visit Florence in May so we can use this information. BTW, I love having your travel guide it has great information and will be very useful.
This is great. We are going October 2023. We decided to rent a car and we will stop by San Gimignano and Monteriggioni first before ending in Siena for 1 night. First time driving in Europe!
You will love it and just take it slow and easy when driving in the cities and enjoy every moment of it and also October can be a good time to visit because you will definitely have less crowds and lower hotel prices
Hi Gregor, Siena looked fantastic! Just a thought, would it be possible for you to film a more in depth video on using the train ticket machines for us dummies in the uk? Great video by the way! Ciao!👍👏👏♥️🏴🇮🇹
Don't forget to validate your ticket before you get on the train or you will get fined when they check the tickets on the train. And yes you get fined even though you have a ticket in your hand if you haven't stuck it in the validating machine.
Hi' I am watching your video for the first time and I like it very much. Can you tell me which nerarest airport to siena? Want to come for holiday but I don't know the airport will be close to siena From Uk
Is there a train from Naples to Milan? And why is the one way ticket so cheap (9 euros) on the website it seems way more expensive than that like around 50 euros or am I tripping?
Thanks for video. Can you advise regarding currency exchange? Last year I went to Sicily. I assumed there were currency exchange booths, like South East Asia. There were a few but currency rates were very , very low. Most bank ATM’s charged at least 2% plus fees. I went to Post Office in Naples like many advised. Published currency rates when I was there was about $90 to 100 Euro. Post office offered $67 to 100 Euro. Any travel hacks for getting best Euro exchange in Italy? I would advise not exchanging in Airport and using Super Rich in Thailand. Any similar advise for Italy?
You should exchange at the airport poor in a city centre like Florence and also there are us banks like a capital one offer no fees, the atm fee in Italy could be around 2 euro to 5 euro
As a resident, i can say it is good for studying, most of schools are located near the city centre, In the morning there are a lot of buses to reach schools. But for working it isn't wery good
