Thank you for being such an awesome teacher. You always make this newbie feel like I can do whatever you're teaching. Your patience and explanations are a gift lots of other teachers do not possess. Please know that this Long Island girl appreciates you.
So happy with the shawl I made 😊, the only thing I did different was slip stitch five and where the skipped chain was add a picot. Thank you so happy with it 😊
Great tutor Lia as usual! When your videos come up I grab a skein of yarn and at least do a sample swatch - this time I grabbed Caron Cotton funnel cakes in the color buttercup. The texture in the cotton with the colorway is awesome with this pattern so, rather than a swatch - here comes new shawl! Thank you so much!
This may be the first thing outside of granny’s that I’m finishing. Using a glorious soft Caron teal and hoping I’ll get to wear it at the local harvest festival this weekend!! Thank you so much for what you do! 💜💜
I LOVE THIS! I'm working it up in a 1 weight and it looks great. This has me humming alone like the Which Way Filet, so my question is..... will you, at some point, come out with a square blanket pattern? I think it would be wonderful. You are my go-to guy for patterns. Thank you so much.
Awsome awsome tutorial, easy to follow instructions and it is a beautiful shawl, only suggestion is use a lighter background when you use dark yarn as it is somtimes difficult for us to see where you are placing the stitches as the background is to dark .
I think everyone out there can agree that our working yarn should stay in the back of the work, until we pull it through the loops with the hook. When the work is turned in this direction, it causes the yarn from the back to cross in front, causing a bit of a bind ~ a li'l yarn traffic jam ~ and it gets the yarn strands misaligned, getting in the way of the stitches that you will do to start the next row. The solution is to remember to turn your work the same as you turn a page in a book, and you will see how smooth it all works out to be. If you have been trying the alternate tricks to simulate the double crochet by double stacking singles or some other way, it just won't work out, because of the crossed over yarn being in the way and problematic, or "fiddly". So, turn the work like a page and , voila! No fiddles!

About how much yarn does this use? I’m trying to use up yarn i have and i don’t wanna get into the middle of the project and have no more yarn?
Can this pattern be used for a blanket?
I want a complete photo for the shawl please.
