It’s just a gas and 2 brake Peddles it isn’t like your car where your right foot does everything no your left should always hover over your brake most of the time on propane to move like inches forward you need to have your left on the brake little gas and slowly let off the brake to move forward you don’t just use your right foot
On electric ones you prob can cause them you let go of brake it goes nowhere you need gas to go but propane you let go that bitch starts going and it goes fast

Check the compliance plate to see the minimum and maximum weight the fork lift can carry. Bring a holster with a hand gun and enough ammunition just in case someone leaks something or someone trespasses or betrays you.
He is operating a 4k forklift. It can carry 4k pounds lol. If you’re experienced with forklifts you can immediately tell what kind of forklift it is before operating it. But of course you’re correct to always check the data plate.

I seen 3 major mistakes, 1st you got onto the truck on the wrong side, 2nd you didn't look behind you before reversing and 3rd you should never operate the hoist whilst the truck in in traction, that there is a fail on your FLT test....
Those aren't hard set rules and they go by location. Where I work, while it may be easier to get in on one side, it's certainly not a rule. And if we weren't allowed to operate the forks and lift or lower them while moving, it would take forever to get things done.
