- After a week of working in UAE, me and my boyfriend Flo made to the Kurdish part of Iraq. Its capital city of Erbil is an over 6000 years old metropolis especially characterized by its citadel in the middle of the city. Erbil became an integral part of the Assyrian civilization which by today is still hosting ethnic Assyrians in the Kurdistan region.
We decided to stay a couple of days in the city and then do a roadtrip around the region.

try to come back to kurdistan in 21th march the kurdish new year, especially the akre city, also i know that you didn't know but we were forced to be a part of iraq, and we don't like to be called iraqi, we've gained our autonomous region and the name (kurdistan) after hundreds of thousands deaths, many cites and villages were bombed and ruined many kurdish soldiers died for that, we'll be very thankful if you call it (kurdistan) insead of (iraq), welcome again dear.

@@littlechineseeverywhere Thanks for your wonderful reply, just to clarify something, in Kurdistan we don’t consider ourselves as Iraqi’s we have a long history of conflicts with Iraq politics, we are trying our best to have our own independent country.
