I wish her all the Peace she couldn’t find here, and that she be surrounded by the Love that heals us all. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.🕊️🦢👼🏻🫶🏼
As a young black kid living in the projects, a place where emotion is seen as weakness, I learned to be present with my emotions and proudly accept myself because of her fearless loving honesty.
I don't know you but I'm so happy for you. That is amazing how much she and her music touched you and made such a difference in your life. Sinead has always been one of my favorite artists because of all of the emotion she pours into every piece she sings.
Life lessons come to you in many places. Stay aware, because there is a lot of love and knowledge to be had, to pick up and carry with you. If you have not read it, pick up a copy of "The Little Prince". if you love this song, I think that children's story will resonate with you. Bless you!

I don’t think there’s another singer that can express such emotion as Sinead I think it’s because she doesn’t seek perfection but just sings from the heart
When she ripped up that picture on live TV- around the same time my abuse was starting in earnest, she rose from Sister to Mother. Her voice is and will always be be in my blood. Dear Sinead, I carry you with me everywhere you've given me the courage to go. I will always love you, and will always struggle to go on.
Sinead, you ripped up that picture of the Pope because you were betrayed, as were so many of us. You were the only one spoke it out loud and exposed the abuse when so many of us were scared and beaten down, like Stockholm Syndrome. You were our voice, our hero ❤💯🙏🙏
No one has ever sung Irish folg songs as uniquely as Sinéad. She always sounded like a ghost overlooking and telling all those stories. Absolutely ethereal.
Well, Sinead was a great artist with a deep, honest, caring soul. But like many openminded, warm Whites, she fell for the rootlessness that infringed our sense of identity. Her passing and late suffering is a result of the lack of belonging while chasing for "individual freedom", which is actually isolation from who we are as part of our people, family and heritage.
One of the great things about her singing was her ability to move between soft and loud tones in a single line. That gave her singing a real and distinct quality.
you cannot use a word like perfection for her voice and delivery of a song, because perfection is too clinical. Organic. Etheral. Otherwordly. Omnipotentt. Those are the words to use for Sinead and her voice.

I don't think close headshots are a 'gimmick,' though. She is very beautiful. Have you ever seen her with her natural long hair? She's lovely. Yes, her facial features are gorgeous...video directors tend to do close shots because she emotes a lot with her facial expressions and huge beautiful eyes, and she doesn't do 'sexy' outfits or dances. Your hills and dales and flowery vales
That lie near the Moorlough Shore
Your vines that blow by borden's grove
Will I ever see you more
Where the primrose blows
And the violet grows
Where the trout and salmon play
With the line and hook, delight I took
To spend my youthful days
Last night I went to see my love
And to hear what she might say
To see if she'd take pity on me
Lest I might go away
She said, "I love that Irish lad
And he was my only joy
And ever since I saw his face
I've loved that soldier boy."
Perhaps your soldier lad is lost
Sailing over the sea of Maine
Or perhaps he is gone with some other lover
You may never see him again
Well if my Irish lad is lost
He's the one I do adore
And seven years I will wait for him
By the banks of the Moorlough Shore
Farewell to Sinclaire's castle grand
Farewell to the foggy hill
Where the linen waves like bleach-ed silk
And the banching stream runs still
Near there I spent my youthful days
But alas they are not now mine
For cruelty has banished me
Far away from the Moorlough Shore

Each time I hear this, it is more beautiful. It is October 27th 2024. I heard her sing this for the first time a few months ago. Simple, yet moving. It touches something deep within me.
I love this song as well as the musicians Sinead is amazing and I love the live version that they did in Dublin I've got it on DVD I watch it often only Celtic women&men can sing these songs Sinead is the best for me and Christy Moore 💚🌈🙏
This is a work of art. This is beauty. I'm always in awe.
Angelique voice. Amazing
She had the purest voice of any I heard.

Whenever I see and hear this ❤... it brings me to tears!!! And I think it was one of her best and most genuine songs... She so seemed to feel and express it! But of course she wrote and sang so many other GREAT, own! composed, witnessed and suffered, beautiful songs, which told us about her tragic Life❣️💔❤️ May God rest her beautiful soul in Eternal Heavenly Peace! 🙏💖 And her beloved son ❤ and all her beloved children here... Sinéad will live on forever!!! ✨🌌💖
