Open Source is different from Open Architecture -- Open source software means that their source code is open. On the other hand, open architecture is the development and integration of different companies into the same product -- still commercialized, but not locked-down-proprietary status :)
This looks complex with many parts. Wouldn´t it be easier to binder jet a metal mold instead and then simply infuse the mold with metal of choice ? This way you don´t need to worry about oxygen ruining the metal powder, instead you bind quarz sand for a mold.
I have to meet this guy! What a cool interview!
Very cool.
It's always great to see open architecture.
What a great energy from this interview 👏
So is it Open Source or what?
I was looking into “Oasis3DP” as an option, and if this checks out it may be even better!
looking at their website it doesnt look like it? just like, they publish some stuff to make it easy for you to add your own pieces on to their machine
