They recreated the format, the visual and editing style to perfection. Literally the only thing missing is for Hitch to go bald. Top tier content as usual.

Because there is an actual show called Hot Ones that was an absolute incredible success. Because of that show this interview style will be cemented in history as one of the best interview styles of all time. First We Feast, Sean Evans and Hot Ones changed the game forever. While I 100% agree doing this with other members, players and creators would be amazing. I think we should strive to have those people be on the actual show to get more exposure.

@@nathanmoore3480 I typed that myself, then deleted it because I feel they did a good job at giving credit where credit was due. But it did feel a LITTLE tacky to completely rip the concept. It made it feel like “we are cool but not cool enough to be on the real show”.
@@MikeWatches the CDL has done a segment with Sean before I think with apathy attach and someone else, so I don’t think it’s a “cool enough” thing just something optic wanted to recreate for fun

I’ve been an Optic fan since I was a teenager, and I legitimately grew up with this team. I’m a year older than scump and have been watching them play since the beginning; Scump/Merk/Bigtymer and Nadeshot were the squad when I first started following the team.

Absolutely loving this. From being an Optic fan and a fan of Hot Ones, I feel like if they decide to do another episode Hitch should continue to host. Could definitely be the revival of Optic Intel and bring Hitch back to his roots with all new information, content and things for people to learn about players/creators they didn't think they needed/wanted to learn about these people. Good work everyone!

I could tell Hitch was a Hot One's aficionado by how he asked the questions and how he knew the gestures, and the way it was filmed was on point with how Hot Ones does stuff, including the zoom-ins on expressions when the heat starts hitting.
