If receipts matter, then rap beef will decided by the 'fact checkers", not rappers and hip-hop enthusiasts, so that's absolutely wrong. I do have to say tho, that the essence of the statement should be true. For example, Drake does have questionable past with baby mommas and underage girls, Kendrick just stretched it further.
It'll only take Whitney one bad day; women wake up as a different person daily. Short shaves her head and shares odd posts/captions. If she cracks, admits kendrick beats the fuck out of her, she takes the kids and his assets. But ya'll stans wanna overlook a potential DV case, just to see Drake fall.
We need facts because they're both liars, as the situation currently stands.

On the real though, I wanna ask a legit question. I probably missed some good beefs in the past decade and a half or so, I probably stopped paying attention around the time when Drake was making his breakthrough. So my question is, when it comes to rap beef, how many times have rappers pulled the whole "prove it" card? It just seems so uncharacteristic of the whole battle concept.
This one of few times. Only other time I can think of is the Meek Mill vs. Drake beef. And it was in reverse. Meek leaked a video of one of Drakes writers doing a reference track, 2 weeks before the diss track.

Kendrick won because he made the better music, and similar to Pusha T, pointed us in a direction to judge Drake for ourselves. The video of him kissing the 17 year old is out there, been out there for years. His other interactions with young women are out there. They’re not anywhere as bad as what Kendrick accused him of, but they’re enough to make most people look at him different

I want to say no, cause they were never necessary before but the claims they made were so egregious.
No! This isn't an "honestly" contest. Me personally I don't care what's True and not true. I'm just looking for some good music. Historically some of the greatest disses of all time had some lies or exaggerations on them but we don't care. Nobody is gonna fact check.

You can debunk anything you want but kendrick lyrically gave that boy, something to sit with mentally. The fraudulent persona, facades for years and gave examples of each. no lies detected there.
He copied a lot of what Push said six years ago and the reality is dude doesn’t know man’s life or family. So he speculating based off his own perceptions and biases. Only thing Push said that was true was that he had a son, which since it was a FACT that got checked, he won.
Kenny has not done anything like that yet and is the much better rapper than Push so it’s disappointing.

Yes they matter but at the same time Drake has A history of lying. Kendrick has had a History of telling the truth. Not only that, the things like Kendrick is saying has already been hinted at by Drake based on his actions. Kendrick himself called himself out on his domestic issues on Mr Morale.
