I'm sorry but there are a few bars that were missed only because perspective "from the hood" was not used to evaluate it, which is OK.. But I'd like to add. When Kendrick said he looked in the mirror and asked where he was from even though he is a timid soul... The answer is Compton. And therefore, he must fight because anyone from his hometown would do the same.. it's the equivalent of someone saying.. "Im from Detroit, or Chicago, or NY.. prior to giving a beatdown and no backdown. Also, the beginning of this track is broken into 3 parts. MONEY, POWER, RESPECT. As he said in the Like That Diss... "the last one is better". Therefore, he gains respect for giving his opponent one last out.. and he gains respect if he proceeds to handle his opponent harshly if they don't back out... As you can see from the results. The Culture now Officially Respects Kendrick Lamar... not just admire his music.

I think there might be something deeper about the glove. I think it might actually be an OJ reference eluding to the fact that Drake or people close to him have gotten away with horrible crimes. The 6/16 being Father’s Day could also tie into it as we know about numerous accusations of his dad creeping on women and tricking them into coming to his strange parties at his house and promising that Drake would be there (when he isn’t even there). His dad also happens to live in LA. Could be reading too much into it but could possible mean something having happened in LA involving 6 (another name for Toronto), and 16 (underage girls), sleeping pills (possibly being used to sedate victims), and the glove eluding to getting away with the crimes.
