this was so pitch-perfect the whole way through. I'm glad you didnt go overboard filling every second with references. the intro was pure gold too man. nailed it.
I'm afraid I prematurely purchased fast food, on what was supposed to be an unforgettable luncheon, if you will. So I'm afraid I have a bit of an Aurora Borealis localized on my hands.
started off and ended great but the dinner table part was a bit of a mess - steamed bees? i think thats what you were going for? not sure also, not having a narrator "It wasn't" immediately following "old family recipe" was a missed opportunity.
Agreed. I think this is so good he should go back and clean up that part by removing whatever it is he dubbed over the audio (hard to hear and isn't relevant to Arrested Development's comedy format) and add a couple of "it wasn't" lines after Skinner's lies at the table. Assuming he can edit it in well, having a sign in the background like "SKinnER LoVe DinneR" would be a nice visual gag.
I hate to nitpick because the good parts are GREAT, but that scene at the table really left me wanting. The "it wasn't" would be perfect, and I don't know what the bees thing is about.
I agree, that the dinner scene is the weakest part by far, but mostly due to the fact that I did nothing with the aurora borealis bit so you basically get nothing for 20 seconds. If I could to go back I'd have: -Kept the bees thing which is a reference to these: ua-cam.com/video/5J2kc4oZTVU/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/uV-9GyO4V1k/v-deo.html -Added in the "it wasn't" (which was something I considered but decided against for a reason I can't remember) -Would reference this: ua-cam.com/video/hNQz6MeKwKs/v-deo.html "Chalmers thought Seymour was referring to a particular brand of cannabis known for being exceptionally rare and pairing well with light shows" then change "can I see it" to something like "can I have some?" with sentence mixing, maybe even going as far as having another voice over flash back sequence explaining that "Chalmers did not actually want to smoke the weed like a cigarette, he believed he was working as a police informant, although it was actually a misunderstanding due to - you know - it was a whole thing, you'd have to watch the entire season to truly appreciate this scene."
7k Haha! Good ideas! The piece as it is was quite a fun watch. I liked how you made a whole flashback cutaway out of the trampling scene from the theme song portion.
I like both the beginning and end, It felt like an episode from arrested development, but the table scene was a bit of mess imo. I have no idea what happened there, but other than that good job
0:50 to 1:20 is my favourite 30 seconds of this entire meme thus far. It's tied with or just might just barely beat out the "Security Alert" bit from the MGS iteration.
I've never seen Arrested Development, but this is still plenty funny and I think it still would seem pretty accurate to the show nonetheless, great job!
I apologize if someones allready said this but having shakey cam would have made this perfect, i understand that would have been rediculously difficult tho
"What a funny comment that gives loads of advice and constructive criticism to further improve and sculpt this into a masterpiece!" Narrator- "It wasn't."
Skinner: "No, No. I said Steamed Hams. That's what I call hamburgers."
Narrator: "It wasn't."
"No, no, that's steam, from the steamed clams we're having!"
"It wasn't"
Ugh it should have been
Ah! Such a missed opportunity! Redo it! Redo it! And make sure you do BOTH "It wasn't"s with a slight different inflection each time.
"You're an odd fellow, but I must say, you steam a good ham."
"He doesn't."
its funny because Skinner is literally is in a state of arrested development living with his mother
Mathieu Leader he’s a true mother boy
that's right
A true Arrested devvelopment style video would cut back and forth between the other shorts in the episode.
“Oh, Steamed Ham is coming?”
“It’s Ann.”
Her?
Alright, well load Ham up in the truck then.
It's as steamed as the Ann on clam's face.
What is she steamed or something?
It doesn't get more obscure or greater than this comment.
this was so pitch-perfect the whole way through. I'm glad you didnt go overboard filling every second with references.
the intro was pure gold too man. nailed it.
"Ironically..."
- every episode of Arrested Development ever
I'm afraid I prematurely purchased fast food, on what was supposed to be an unforgettable luncheon, if you will. So I'm afraid I have a bit of an Aurora Borealis localized on my hands.
STEAM HOLT

Steamed BEANS
-What are you steaming?
-Hams!
-Clams!?
-Haaaams.
-...CLAMS!!!
-Chalmers' not on board.
We'll see who brings in more honey!
O'l bear! He likes the ham!
Now edit arrested development like the simpsons
I'd love to see a Peep Show-themed Steamed Hams.
This meme got me to watch Arrested Development for the first time.
"Purchasing fast food and disguising it as his own cooking" should have been played in unison with the actual quote.
"Mister S".
Thanks to you, now I know what the "Arrested Development" is.
Lindsay would've served hot ham water instead of steamed ham.
Gotta say this video is solid...
*Solid as a Rock*
TheDylan217 *Iraq
The effort placed into this is rather impressive...
That opening sequence alone must have taken hours to create
Franklin on the oven. 🤣🤣🤣
+111 points for Supe SHOUTING "Steamed BEES" at Skinner, over and over. -6 points for calling it a dinner instead of a luncheon.
Easily one of the best variations of this meme
There's always money in the steamed ham stand.
I haven't seen Arrested Development but this still managed to be funny.
Really funny but the loud "Beans" or something at 1:36 kind of ruins it as editing like that doesn't exist in Arrested development.
BEES
BEES?
@GameGrumpsMoments isn't on board
They don't allow you to have beans in here.
Yeah, completely forced
Steamed 🅱️'S
This is one of the most well-done steamed hams memes
now, the story of a steam who hammed everything, and the one krusty burger who had no choice but to keep steaming hamd
The greatest thing I've ever seen
1:16 this theme gets me every damn time
2 of the greatest shows on television somehow combined to make a meme amazing
I like both the beginning and end, It felt like an episode from arrested development, but the table scene was a bit of mess imo. I have no idea what happened there, but other than that good job
Krusty Burger. It's a WONDERFUL restaurant.
now that's what i call an unforgettable clamburger.
I need to watch AD show again
"I guess I just yellowed myself."
I really like how you handled the kitchen scene.
0:50 to 1:20 is my favourite 30 seconds of this entire meme thus far. It's tied with or just might just barely beat out the "Security Alert" bit from the MGS iteration.
The outro was hilarious. Good editing!
There's money in the Steamed Hams stand.
lmao @ the zoom in on the oven with an overlay of Franklin
I've never seen Arrested Development, but this is still plenty funny and I think it still would seem pretty accurate to the show nonetheless, great job!
It's okay you can touch me there da ze how in the hell haven't you been arrested development?!
The best of both worlds! Thank you
Why do I keep coming back to this?
The narration is good.
This was note-perfect.
That was GOLD! Well done.
THIS IS INCREDIBLE GOD BLESS YOU
mad creativity on this one lmao
AD was a great show, thanks for making this
Woefully under appreciated
This is the best Steamed Hams, absolutely brilliant. Come on!
My head got sliced off by that steam
A perfect example of UA-cam doing its job.
Best version I've seen yet!
Hot Steamed Ham Water
Ron Howard: "Meanwhile, Skinner was trying to make the best of the situation..." [Awkward closeup]
This is the best one I've seen so far
ok, you win. this is the best one
in fact, just redo all of Simpsons like this
Not enough shaky cam
this is incredible
BEST DINER PARTY EVER
This is a very funny interpretation.
FOR STEAMED EYES ONLY.
Live-action Simpsons fancast:
Jason Bateman as Skinner and Jeffrey Tambor as Chalmers.
Well... maybe we can leave Tambor out of it.
The resemblance between Bateman and Skinner is uncanny, ever since I noticed it while making this video I haven't been able to unsee it.
wow my two favorite shows, this is hilarious. will you marry me?
marry me
-Steamed beans!
-Steamed hams!
-Beans!
-Hams!

7k *BEANS!*
Crafty bacon is not on board

This is awesome
this is amazing.
I actually want to see the sequel.
Best one yet? Yes really
hot ham water
This is the very best version of this meme that exists.
This is too good
This should have been narrated by Jason Bateman
My favorite part where was where they basically gave up editing at 1:36
I love this
Diner party
Why did the narrator not explain why SuperIntendent Chalmers did notice the house being on fire?
I apologize if someones allready said this but having shakey cam would have made this perfect, i understand that would have been rediculously difficult tho
This was amazing. Bravo
Fantastic work compadre!
I think I just blue myself
There's gotta be a better way to say that.
Steamed Hams
But is edited like a Borderlands 2 Side Mission
This is great and accurate
What a funny premise that completely and utterly failed to deliver
"What a funny comment that gives loads of advice and constructive criticism to further improve and sculpt this into a masterpiece!"
Narrator- "It wasn't."
This was given up on halfway through :(
This is some next level shit
bravo sir
I’ve made a huge mistake
So nice
