    My body literally rejected chicken after awhile. I will say though, a few episodes ago Fouad said "if you don't make your food taste good, you won't last as a bodybuilder"...ain't that the truth.

    Hello. I am 27 and used to weigh almost 300lbs. I got very sick and lost my appetite for around a year. Dropped all the way down to 180lbs and became very weak and thin.
    I started watching bodybuilding meal prep videos to encourage me to eat. Watching your videos while eating has helped me gained weight. Thank you

    You can watch videos on UA-cam about Cast Iron care. All you need: is to use a cast iron pan regularly. For cleaning, rub it with flax seed oil or avocado oil. I started using cast iron pans in June 2019, never going back to aluminum. It is *EASY* ! You are a bodybuilder an that is much more challenging than caring for a pan. Try it. The companies will be glad to send you free pans to try.

    seasoning is key for all foods, bodybuilding or not. almost all types of plant seasonings are extremely low calories. my key mix for chicken is paprika, garlic, salt, pepper and vegeta (if your from Europe you put that shit on everything) coat in a little bit of olive oil then throw on the grill or pan.
    also for the people who "cant bring their meals around" wrap your food up. I always make chicken wraps throw them in my bag. no mess easy to eat and filling.

    I make a very similar meal with the Costco salsa, I use coconut oil instead of butter, I feel like the coconut oils gives me some added nutritional benefits, mainly a little HDL support. Great video, you should invite other bodybuilders to do their "staple" meals.

      I need to train myself not to scared of butter. I worked so hard to not use butter and find alternatives. This is why I love this series though! I get to see that it's okay to have a little butter in your life.

    • @FouadAbiad
      @FouadAbiad  5 років тому +1

      @@recordquest7988 Just think of the 90/10 rule when you eat each meal or eat as a whole. 90% clean, 10% for flavour. Sometimes you get flavour and clean in the same ingredient. Again that was grass fed butter so the omega 3 profile is much higher than regular butter which is a healthy fat I want.
