You guys are still the best house tour duo out there. You keep it real, fun and interesting! I love the fact your video style is not overly polished, like so many other channels. This keeps it authentic! Well done Michael and Adam!
@@jeffmoore3449 I agree. It's like running thru a chrome/glass office building(s) on a scavenger hunt, for what no one knows. Every once in awhile a video shows up and I think "Hmmm, haven't seen them in awhile" Then BAM I remember "OH yeah, this isn't my thing" Which is totally OK I am glad there are different styles of house tours on UA-cam for everyone' "style."
Michael I am new to your channel but you and Adam have brought me much joy over there last few months. I lost my mum in January so it's been a tough time recently and discovering your lovely videos has been a little ray of light. I hope you recover well from your back injury and are feeling more your self again soon. Best regards from Wales, UK
Michael and Adam are by far my favourite youtubers I've been watching these guys since the pandemic and they brought me such comfort and entertainment through it all. Thank you Michael and Adam for all the good times and laughs😁👍🏻
Michael thank you for shooting this video despite your back pain. I hope you feel better and have a speedy recovery. But as for the house, you mentioned that it was an ADU. From my understanding Additional Dwelling Units are rental units added on to the house to offset the housing costs. I guess most people with luxury property don't have to sublet their own living space, but it might be a good investment opportunity for somebody.
Though Michael did chicken out of going to the top level. And oh yes, the guest apartment could be a great rental unit, or maybe the inlaws apartment. Though another possibility is servants quarters, despite domestic servants not being very common anymore, some of the wealthiest people still have them.
The seven level layout is undoubtedly innovative. They couldn't build out much, so they built up! The only Achilles heel of this property is they didn't make room for a proper swimming pool. A swimming pool is a must with ANY luxury house in a warm climate. Though I guess they could have put a pool on one of the second floor patios or the main sixth floor patio, which honestly they should have.
Omg that first room is damn near like my dream room. I could live in that room wit the kitchen like 10 feet away and the bed 20-30 feet away and I've seen bout 80 percent of all house tours on this channel and that might have been my favorite.
These type of homes are really nice but the downside of it is houses like this that are built up against the hillside are at a very high risk of mudslides every year here in LA. Some of the mudslides may not move the house physically, but all of that mud gets pushed up against your home busting out the windows and destroying parts of it, and it cost big money to have it all removed.
Only because you requested that a doctor reply to this, I am a doctor who specializes in back issues and my recommendation without being able to do any orthopedic tests is for you to look into getting a PRP (platelet rich plasma) injection done. Very different than a cortisone shot because instead of simply masking the symptoms, it provides the building blocks needed to help the vertebral discs, muscles, tendons...to heal. It is similar to doing a Stem Cell injection but in many cases can work better. There are different approaches to PRP and some work better than others but we get a lot of patients that fly to our clinic from out of state because of the simplicity of the treatment and because of the quality/concentration of the PRP used. Michael if you google Aspire Health and Wellness Clinic in Riverton Utah you can get more info.
will insurance pay for that type of treatment? they wont cover stem cell, the things that work, insurance /medicare won't pay for. Thanks, love Utah, went last October.

Hey Michael love your channel! I'm not a Doctor presay but I am a Personal Trainer, Nutrionist and have worked in Physical therapy. I have learned a great deal about back pain as well as sciatica pain in my years in fitness and through first hand experience with the military and law enforcement. I have used a combination of these methods to attack and alleviate all of my back and sciatica pain. I went to: -Massage therapy -Accupuncture -Yoga -Physical Therapy -Chiropractor -Manual Therapy Which did provide some relief but I did relapse into pain a few times. It wasn't until I changed my habits to consistently doing these exercises did I see results -Hip Thrusters -Birddogs -Deadbugs -Fire hydrants -Planks -Body weight Squats -Single leg RDLs I also started to sit on the ground cross-legged and on my heels, which truly helped gain my mobility! Also try hanging from a bar it will really help to decompress the spine ! Goodluck! Dan
This building is a monstrosity... And Im sure its extremely expensive. But no architect has ever been in this property. This is all invented by the builders themselves. There is absolutely nothing charming, desirable, or luxurious except that its big and expensive for the sake of being expensive.
The last time architects made something beautiful was over a hundred years ago, since then we only get bauhaus/brutalist/post modern/cultureless abominations, which only establishes that when you think too much about aesthetics, you lose your ability to be tasteful...So if this building reflects the wishes of the owner, then at least he knows what he wants no matter what your programmed sensibilities tell you
Post modern: imagination without talent! That was a perfect example of that! The video was still very entertaining and worth watching though. As always thanks for posting!

Great video as always! Michael and Adam you both need to visiting a yoga class. This will help Michaels back. It’s now or never. If you don’t start to mobilise that back it will only get worse. You are in a warm climate and don’t really do anything physical so it must be stress that’s causing the back problems. If I was near you both and not the UK I’d have that back like NEW in 4 sessions. A reason dumbwaiters and laundry chutes are not very common is that there are fire and building code requirements that require things like automatic smoke/fire dampers and other safety measures at each floor level to keep fire and smoke from spreading to other floors more rapidly and including special construction of the shaftway. Think of them as miniature elevators/elevator shafts with similar requirements. A two story laundry chute in a home is much easier to justify but once you extend to three or more floors, more restrictive and demanding codes apply. The cost to do this is often very high and prohibitive for a speculation build project.
How do you vent out the steam and hot, moist air from the shower and bath with no walls separating it from your bedroom? The mold problem must be horrific with that design. I wouldn't live there. In the winter the moisture on the glass must be a pain to deal with. Dripping down off the floor-to-ceiling windows and getting the carpet wet. I wonder how often they have been forced to replace the carpeting in the bedroom? Of course, if you love cold showers, then there is no problem.
In it to win it… I’ve had a back boo boo since 2014 when a truck hit and ran ..I know the struggle. No insurance money no disability money just life got turned upside side down. If I buy this home I’ll invite you both for a cookout my party days are behind me…
The star pattern on the range creates more flame fingers that more evenly heat the pan faster than the round type that creates cool areas in the middle of the pan and on the outer edges. This is why induction is better for cooking. With induction ranges the entire pan gets hot evenly...unless you are trying to cook with aluminium pans. In that case, read the directions for your induction range again and buy a magnet.

does he have pain running down his legs or pain in back side. a MRI is needed first. I agree with you about acupuncture as it makes you refocus as physiotherapy has more to do with it. and weak back muscles. So he needs to get the muscles stronger to help support the spine. : )

For back pain we give ketoprofen and Diclofenac cream to spread on the painful zone
yep. putting the cream further up and down the back helps because of the nerves that run side to side from the spine and then goes down the legs.
