They always say don't meet your heroes as they will disappoint. However, Head MAMRer, Tim Stent is the exception to the rule. What a gent and great to speak to. Only managed to keep up with him as I did the 10K, but keep doing what you do as your videos are inspiring.
We knew the game was up for Gove when he stood down at Surrey Heath. Lovely route that. We've stopped off at Much Marcle on our tours of the English countryside. Never realised the famous connection.
Great runs, great videos! Well done again. Wife and I just got in for the 2 castles before they put the biggest "Sold Out" sign on the website I've ever seen! looking forward to it
Congratulations on completing the 6 in 6. I've really enjoyed the series. Naysby would have to be my favourite episode. I am genuinely impressed that you've recovered after each race to come back and put in a solid shift each week.
Having managed to get at least one correct answer almost every week in the quiz, I feel like I reached and possibly exceeded my potential. So proud. I have to put Naseby down as my favourite, as I was there on the day to say hello before kick off. Great series, MARM, and a big well done to your daughter 👍🏻🏃♂️
@@middleagedrunningman didn't you join lonely goat 🤔or am I making that up ? But no t-shirt, I'm sure you can charm ( rhymes with marm 🤣)your way through ,hope you enjoy it 🙂
Well done on 6 out of 6 and beating Gove. My favourite has to be Worcester and the poo predicament - not something most running youtubers care to share with their viewers, but you always keep it real Marm. So glad to see the wee ducklings survived, a close call.
What a way to finish 6 in 6!! Another excellent time Tim. Brilliant to see your daughter at Parkrun. We've got children from our school into Parkrun which is lovely to see. Best wishes 👏👏
Awesome achievement 🎉 Nothing to do with the running but two things I hate. Pretend Cornish pasties that couldn't even pass as a Ginsters which shouldn't be uttered in Cornwall 😉 and hot as in scolding burnt milk lattes that are made badly 😢
Great video as usual. Congratulations on doing your 6/6 weeks. Thankfully you didn’t get out that shocking London Landmarks shirt you bought 😂 My favourite was Naseby Shires & Spires. I will definitely do that next year. Just booked The amazing Northampton Half for September. Hopefully see you one of these days. Ps say well done to your Lilly. Great effort for her first Parkrun.
Congratulations on 5th place, 6 out of 6, your daughter’s run, all the duckling survivors and beating Gove! Phew, that’s a lot for one weekend. I got 1 right on Career vs Korea. 😂 Looking forward to whatever runs/races you’ve got scheduled for the year. Party on MARM! 🎉😂👍🏼
A lovely series of videos, always impressed with your pace whilst filming etc, respect 👍 Think I have an old 70's 7” vinyl somewhere by Marm and the Marmalettes. Keep ‘em coming ..AMSSG !
"I only needed Myra Hindley" 🤣🤣🤣I used to swop footies stickers at school , Marm is on another level , I was rolling around at that. Loved the 6 in 6. Id say Naseby was my fav. Top effort yet again mate, excellent running and result 👊
Well done Tim. Coventry was my favourite. Ducking hell, that was a close call with the van! Well done to your daughter, daddy/Daughter runs are great. My 10yr old ran her 83rd 5km parkrun on Saturday, she's down to 22.58 now and showing Dad the way home more often than not. 🤦♂
Incredible effort, Tim! enjoy your week off for half term and a Sunday off before the Two Castles! I think Shires and Spires was the best race but all great race VLOGs and brilliant performances! See on 9th June 🦖
Well done 👏 finishing in my home county. I am amazed how you can run these half’s like it’s a 5k. I’ve got my first half in October and absolutely 💩 myself. I will be sure to double dose on the Imodium on the day
Great video and huge well done on completing the 6-in-6! I did very similar and completed a 5-in-5 the other week so you went one better! Ran Stratford, Coventry and Birmingham with you but also did Manchester and Leeds Marathons too. Good luck with the next challenge, 7-in-7 maybe?
It's a bit sad that the 6 in 6 saga has ended, but what a journey that was! Top job Marm, truly well done, and already looking forward to what's coming up next. Also, congrats to your daughter, she will be pacing you in no time I think. Shires and Spires was my favourite one.
excellent series Marm, well done on not only beating Gove but sticking these out and getting some super impressive finishes! I am mightily relieved that those poor little ducklings survived, proper heart in mouth moment!! what's next for MARM then? I mean, there are 6 months left of the year, so perhaps 6 ultras in 6?? 🤷♀
My groin was throbbing like never before, not seeing the on-screen splits.. 😂😜 I think the Injury is worse than ever now.. Make ur own mind up whether it worked.. "Friend". . 😆😂🤣
Superb. My favorite race was deffo the Shires and Spires because a) it was a last minute entry to support a mate doing the ultra - we only deiced to do it on the previous Thursday - and we had such a laugh (not supporting our mate at all in the end because they set us off in different waves) and b) discovering your channel the day before meeting you. Thanks for the mention, would you believe it, I'm doing Two castles too!
@@middleagedrunningman The Two Castles was what got me into running 17 years ago. I went to see my brothers run it and thought, I could do this the rest is history. We try and do it every year as a family event.

Well done, Tim!! Amazing achievement! Hopefully i'll start a race with u at some point, even if j have no chance of finishing it with u!!'xx
Yes!! One day on that starting grid!
Excellent work. Could I recommend maybe Chester Half if you do this again next year...
Was on the list Dan. Next year deffo. Really good?
That actually looked like a great place to run! Well done again - hopefully see you at Two Castles!
See you there Andy!! Looks like a classic!

Gutted. You don’t get over knocks like that.
Well done re the 6 in 6. And Lil doing the park runs, that relegates me another place in the Croft running league tables 😂😂
Always number one Chris!!
A great series to watch and cant believe youre still standing after that aha, you have been running seriously well lately, see you next week 🤜🤜🔥🔥
See you at the Castle Ryan!!
Brilliant time given the punishment you have given yourself for 6 weeks and sabotage from Govey.
Thanks Mike. It’s been punishing.
Congrats on the 6 in 6! Very enjoyable series :)
