I love how your kitty was there “helping” most of the time.
a few times had me looking for where my cats were.
The cat was su'purr'vising.

I like how you used the Leatherman to help make it's own holster.
That felt like old school Diresta. Nice.
"Classic DiResta"
Totally, if you couldn't see the background at all, this could have easily been a basement shop vid.
RIP Spike. 😻

Man I can watch leather working all day long. Keep em coming!
What I really like about this (and a lot of Jimmy's projects) is that this is the kind of thing most anyone could make with minimal tools. Another great video Jimmy! Thank YOU!
Wet forming leather is so satisfying...one of the best material to work with!
Very interesting process. Really enjoyed. The simple idea of turning the holster on the angle is really what makes it.
You make this stuff look so damn easy. I reckon this is much better than the metal holster you made a while back.
Nice Cat, and great leather craftsmanship. When I was younger I worked at Justin Boot Co. /Fort Worth, Texas. Thanks for posting , and Cheers from Texas.
Watching you pull threads through is kinda mesmerizing. And all the background noises are always an added feature to the show. 29 more holsters and you should have 1 for each.
I really like the way you work, i don't know how much you have planned this but it looks like you have a general idea and just go with it. I myself find that a nice way to build things and try new materials. Your a great sourse of insperation.
thank you!!
A True Craftsman, measure none cut once! Awesome.
Finally old school video. No lasers, cnc and other "modern" devices👍

Wait... is that SPIKE?! Man, I haven't seen that ole man in years. Glad to know he's still around.
Sorry, I was gonna comment about the amazing build but... 😅
Good to see you ! We always look for your videos .
Jimmy your leather videos are becoming some of my favorite. Great work!
We all need a big dose of understanding how things work , how things go together . Assembly , disassembly & nomenclature . these things are just the fundamentals , but they are building blocks that can not be by past on our road to becoming the makers of things !!!

Craftsman extraordinary! Cat stole the show.
Terrific piece of work by Mr D.
Ps. And not a weapon in sight.
Hurrah..! 👍
I was on a cliff waiting to see how the leatherman was getting inside! Suspense, a great storyline, and a cameo from kitty. 10 of 10!
I have an old Leatherman sheath from the late 90's, But I would LOVE to make one with more EDC abilities like a pencil, flashlight holder and maybe a 6" ruler.
Awesome as always Jimmy!
Oh, and a quick clip of some type.
Love the classic look. Reminds me of the black leather Buck knife sheaths from the 80s.
Excellent craftsmanship as usual
What a great build. Loved how you formed the leather with the leatherMan!! All sorts of good tips!!
It's so cool how leather keeps to shape. Great project Jimmy
I like the holster, but I love seeing your project manager inspect your work. I have a project supervisor of my own. He is a diluted orange tabby Manx-mix called Lovey McSqueak.
Beautiful job as always. Wrap the leatherman in saran wrap and a layer of duct tape, it will keep the form from fitting too tight but still keep its shape.
Thanks for the tip. What did you think of the layer of plexiglass on top of the wood? Thanks. :)

It's nice seeing Spike's protegé in the videos. Miss that chubby cat on my screen.

Great holster! Also, saddle stitching with a kitty around is definitely hazardous...! Great to see Spike and another leather vid, like the old days. Sweet, JD
That is such an awesome finished product
Love it 😍 and love watching the behind the scenes on the editing this morning
This video is great but the voiceover on patreon is even better.
Is it weird that every time i binge watch his videos a new one gets posted?
i kinda had the same
projection
Great video Jimmy. Hand stitching like BOSS
Hello Jimmy beautiful job well done my friend
Old school by the hand of the man! 👍
OUTSTANDING, thank you Jimmy🤗😎🤗😎🤗
Hey Jimmy,
What a great, simple yet elegant way to mold leather! I can see that technique having many applications. One I'm thinking of is for making a sheath for a my Diresta skeleton knife. Thanks for sharing this!

Fantastic classic DiResta 👏👏 Thank you Jimmy
Truly brilliant Jimmy 👏👏👍👍👍
I really enjoy watching this. Also, the Insta story where you explain your editing techniques was quite informative. Thanks.
I love it even Spike wants to be in the middle of your project lol
Gorgeous, Jimmy
It's really amazing at how skilled Jimmy is at so many things. Nice work.....👍👍👏👏😉😉
Wow! Impressive workmanship
I liked the "making of" on IG.
Great video as always.
Cant wait to see who comes to play baseball!?
Looks like you built a clock to tell me what time it is. Excellent work as always sir.
What beautiful work! I really enjoyed this video, thank you for sharing!
Thank you Weaver
Absolutely Fantastic. Thanks Brother
That was perfectly made. Loved it.
Here I thought my sewn sided leather pouch was pretty haha. Awesome molded project, I'll have to try my hand at it.
Beautiful work, Jimmy! Really amazing! 😃
When your cat started meowing at around 8:21 I had to pause the video and started searching here at home... I thought some cat had entered here! 😂
In that case I need to act fast, before he/she starts a fight with my cats. 😬
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Great design, I need to make one of these. I watched your instagram story and I still thought that was my cat in the background for a second.
2:10 was so satisfying
What? No DiResta logo? Say it ain't so! Really bro, nice work. You make it look so easy.
Respect from Egypt Jimmy
Always inspiring 😉
Using a leatherman to build a leatherman holster. Epic!
Good job jimmy..👍👍👍
Thanks Jimmy 👍😊🙏
Great job Jimmy
Had a holster just like that for my Walther PPK. Sits nice on the hip.
Great design Jimmy
Now that I would carry, I hate the cheap nylon pouches they come with now. I remember back in the 90's or whatever they came with nice leather pouches.
I inherited my dad's old one and even though it's an older Leatherman and doesn't have some of the features the newer ones have, I still use it more than my brand new one because the sheath is so much better.
1.5 dollar ( shipping i don't know). Made in China leather ones.
@@xw6968 yeah, I'm sure that'll be real nice. LOL
@@xw6968 LOL!
@@xenonram probably good enough LOL
Great work Jimmy..
wow great work Jimmy! thank you for the video!
When I bought my leatherman wave, it was just released and came with a leather case with snap catch as a bonus.

Why do i love that squeaky sound leather holsters make? Haha
Creative as always
That’s beautiful work.
Quite possibly the first ever documented use of a Leatherman for actual leatherworking.
Great video, love how you talked about editing this on IG. Project is cool. Mahalo for sharing! : )
Cool! I recently picked up a few Leathermans, they are extremely well made!
ua-cam.com/video/8SYOyTBYYQo/v-deo.html
I gotta try it. ..thanks for the tutorial Jimmy..just made a marking knife..no holster.
Very rad Jimmy. Definitely need to try my hand at more leather working.
Super beau travail amigo
Very nice. I've gotta try this.
Very nice J.D... That's nicer than the one that came with my Leatherman...
Awesome work!!
Keep inspiring man, awesome as always
My buddy Kenny does freelance design work for Leatherman - I shared this with him Jimmy! - take care - Chris
Yet another great vid Jimmy. I would however suggest that you make a pair of pants next time... with all the gadgets you carry that might serve you better 😉
Great looking sheath. I use pliers when saddle stitching as well it’s tough to pull those needles through!
ua-cam.com/video/8SYOyTBYYQo/v-deo.html
diresta getting closer to becoming the batman
Love your work man
Beautiful craftsmanship. I would definitely buy your work
Two tricks: 1) use ethanol insted of water. It does the same work but evaporates much faster. 2) if you want your case to be hard bake in owen on 120 c° for half an hour or so.
Seems like a nice fit also when seated in a vehicle seat.
Very Cool Jimmy!
Good job, nice content, skillful congratulations 👍🏻👏🏻☺️
thankfully, mine came with a beautiful leather case.
Sei il numero uno 👍👍
I would love to see your take on a leather tool vest for working in your shop.
Spettacolare! Proverò a realizzarne uno simile per il mio MUT
