Nick Fury didn't get enough love in the Avengers movies. The assassination scene is one of the few that showed the best parts of him. Even in a life or death, high-pressure situation, he was completely calm, resourceful, patient, and knew how to handle the problem.
The one detail I always loved about Iron Man was the fact that every single movie you saw him in, he always upgraded his suit in some way so it wasn't just the same, boring thing every time. Shows how innovative he was and always improving and building to be better.

What I absolutely love about the scene from Dredd is that you get to see what his #1 movie is: the law. He doesn't prioritize protecting the civilian, what matters is that the criminal is punished. Dredd doesn't negotiate, and the civilian knew it, which is why she was as scared of Dredd as she was of the criminal.
That Fury chase/shootout sequence is still one of the most intense and best car chase scenes in movie history. The Winter Soldier introduction with those screaming banshee sounds was also top notch. That whole movie was just awesome. Too bad the rest of the MCU wasn't as serious and thrilling as Winter Soldier.
Those screaming banshee sounds are actually samples from the first avenger, its literally Bucky's scream when he fell off the train, just they mess with the audio a bit.
The choice to have minimal music during the first REAL Iron Man in action scene was absolutely brilliant. You could tell they really wanted to shock the world by saying "This is what a super hero should look and feel like on screen. Period."
Gotta give props to the expert marksman tanker. What's the lead on something that's going mach 2? That also had to be at least 1 mile away upon rounding the mountainside. He's the real badass.

I miss when Marvel movies looked more "gritty". Not in a sense of tone and feeling, but everything looked raw and real. It became waaay to polished and smooth looking. I also miss them not being afraid of using black tones as opposed to the dark grey they use now. The blacks really made the colors pop.

Since this type of armour has already been made Tony Stark is shown as the weapon and armour maker thus knows the inner workings and must have improved it to withstand a lot more than explosions. Plus the tank used a high explosive shell which is usually used to target hostiles in the air, it has a lot of.......shall we say boom but no penentration ability since it needs to explode and do fragmentaional damage. Although we can see the effects of the....boom and that the shockwave knocks tony down we see that fragments have no penentration against his suit thus in this way he did explode but not the one he could have been harmed with. And finally its hollywood dude.
