Please start a gofundme or something to fly Sondre out to cut with you guys in the states.. that kid deserves it so much
Start the page, I'll donate. Well deserved
I'm in!
Send Sondre til statene..
I would love to see Sondre get more experience with Jacob. I would donate
That would be Hella awsome.
I’d be in on that!!
Sandre is such a good dude! Hats off to Husqvarna for helping him out with the saws!
I would definitely donate
Really glad you made it out there to work with Sondre.
Seems that Norway Spruce is the "Beastie Boy" of his forests. 👍👍
"I'm not wearing gloves, I'm a Viking!" - indeed!
Sondre is a great kid with a great attitude and sense of humor. I'm a dad and I would be proud of Sondre if he was my son. 100%.
Giving Sondre those items was just beautiful & really meant alot. Hopefully he will get what he needs soon. Consumables, rigging, a chipper, & of course another visit from Jake.
Machinery is stupid expensive in norway. it'll take alot of work
So very generous of Husqvarna and others for there international support of our community of our arborists, fellers and loggers. I’d like to give my appreciation to the vendors that supported this video and the persons that made it possible.
What a touching and inspirational story. Hats off to that gentleman. And in other news, you’re certainly getting around to a lot of new and cool places Jacob with this traveling gig you got going on. Keep it up man, from one arborist to another.
Jacob, you’re a well experienced arborist and teaching Sondre was awesome to watch. He is so humble and deserving of so much (his “father” can go kick rocks)!
I agree with the person who suggested starting a gofundme. Great idea! Loved the four Norway videos!
What a great series of vlogs…. You and Sondre were a lot of fun to watch. The fact that you also arranged to get those saws for him is great!
You, Husqvarna, and Clogger are awesome for helping him out with all of that stuff. Very cool to see. I started my own tree business by myself when I was 21. Started with just a 440 with a 20 inch bar and worked my way up to getting all of my own climbing gear. Super cool to see you helping him out. He deserves it
That was a great video series with Sondre, he had a witty dry humor that suited you well.
I loved that you asked Husky to Give Sondre the saws! That just made the whole trip worth it. I'm sure he'll remember this for the rest of his life.
Keep up the great work Jake
Wow Jakob that’s a lot of responsibility teaching encouraging and doing the hard work with lack of necessary equipment.
Well done nice to see you sharing your years of knowledge. Very safe hands.
As soon as I saw his pants destroyed and you talked about shipping issues, I knew you were going to give the pants off your legs if you had to. Good on you Jake. Props to Sondre for saving and getting you out there. Way to keep cutting and working when everything is working against you!
Jake, This video is one of your best to date. What you did to bless him will return to bless you. He that gives to the poor, or those less blessed than yourself, actually is like lending the same to God. I hope others see this video from arborist equipment providers, and bless him with some other gear to aid in his work, and the growth of his business. Way to go Jake!
You are a good man helping a good man!! Great job passing along saws and gear to him, wow!
Hats off to you Sondre. Jaw dropped at Jake's revelation of your past. You're a champ for rising above and roaring back in the face of adversity. Must be the Viking in you. Thanks as always Jacob.
It was really great to see and follow your adventures in Norway. Good luck to Sondre, keep up the good work!
OMG!
Thank you so much for supporting him!...
Tell him if he wants to come to Canada BC and help me do Tree Service
I got a job and lodging for him (and you too!)
Bring your skis or snowboard!!!
Hey!
General Patton said "Success is how hard you bounce off the bottom". Not only did Sondre bounce, he's hauling ass to the TOP. Thank you, Jake, for your generosity and help.
You and your family are such great people. I enjoy watching and learning. I'm only 71 with so much to learn.
You get better and better bro!! Your respect for Sandra was touching and it was obviously mutual!
Good on Husqvarna, WCS and Clogger for helping him out! Loved the content with him. Good job Jack for organizing the gifts!
Man Sandre gets every ounce of respect I can give. I’m in a similar boat, starting a new tree business. Other than my saddle, ropes, spikes and saws I don’t really have any gear. But my dad has helped me whenever I needed it and my friends let me borrow their rigging gear when I need it. Without my support network I wouldn’t be able to get me business off the ground. He is on his own in almost every sense, but it doesn’t stop him, he’s fucking strong physically and mentally. He’s got everything money can’t by that leads to success. I think jake being there and helping is going to be the first domino to fall to him killing it.
As a young guy (24) having my own little treeservice started from screatch...from nothing but a 180 buck tophandel saw from einhell and some old climbingstuff i had laying arround i feel what you are saying and know what sandre is going trgohth ... it was very very hard the first 2/3 years but after i got speedline and rigging stuff it got so much better ...and the Moment my best buddy (we know each other for over 20 years now) started working for me it turnd from a nigthmare to a now Dream.... its aweseome we both can Support Our famalys ...still have fun every second we work togther and stuff that made me nervous now is a well wanted challange ....
All the best to sandre and Jakob ❤ i love your channel Jakob. ..i took So much from you and integrated it into my workstyle and figured out New better ways for me to get it done myselfe based on your stuff ...i have watched most of your Videos and loved evrey second of it
So nice to See somebody youngwr than me already living my dream 😊
I would love to work togther with sandre or Jakob.... i live half of the year in germany and the ither half in the northwest Part of sweden ...i Plan to Start treework in sweden too ...i a litlle village with like 200/300 ppl
@@bjorn-e.t.6198 all that I can give you is my GREATEST RESPECT!😊 I love your story and I hope all the BEST WISHES FOR YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS 👍
@@bjorn-e.t.6198 Where are you from in Germany? Im a tree climber from germany and enjoy working with different people ✌️

@@ToddAdams1234 thank you so much 😊 all the best to you too ✌🏻👌🏻
awesome that you, Jake, were able to pay it forward! Sondre seems like a really good kid :)
Thank you for helping out someone that has the ambition but is still learning and the info and experience you gave him he will never forget. It's obvious to me why you do this. You love trees tree work and helping people out when you can. GOD bless and stay safe
What a great series, Jake. Good on you and Husqvarna. Sondre deserves a lot of praise. Can't think of a better mentor for him.
Looked like a hella productive trip. Sandre best of luck with your business, keep growing and always be open to learn.
What a great series - thoroughly enjoyable. One of the big takeaways for me is just how damn good the battery-powered Huskys are - I have zero need for one, but I desperately want one. Great marketing, Husqvarna!
Ohhh what wonderful videos! 2 hard workers together, seeing another aspect to Jacobs brilliant personality, mentoring this young lad, in such a caring & patient manner, donating his freebies to Sondre who he recognised needed help ❤️
Best of luck to Sondre and your business. You are an awesome guy!!!
Hell of a video and mad respect for Sondre. Wish you both the best in the future!
“People can find me in Norway…” 😂 Sondre is a natural comedian and such a great dude. Wish him the best of luck with his business!!
Really cool to see all of us northerners rockin' english so well. Very useful to have it in school. Shows in these cases that we do pretty good.. Sondre is cool.
Sondre, don't feel bad about under estimating a job. Hopefully it's not a repeat experience for you, but consider it a valuable bit of education. All education costs something. Whether it's formal education, on the job education or even youtube education, it all costs someone something. Estimating is a long, hard and sometimes expensive journey of learning and skill development. Some people are really good at it and some people (like me) are really slow at learning it and have to suffer many expensive mistakes before they get good at it. The important part is to look at the job at the end and try to see the details that you misjudged so that you can avoid repeating the same mistake. I think it's awesome that you're self employed and taking on big projects. I wish you well and hope you experience great success!
Just get really drunk when you get it finished
love this comment by the way, I too am like Zaccheus it took me a long time to get estimates dialed in. My advice would be to over estimate then cut the customer a deal if you finish ahead of schedule, it helped me take the pain out + the customer feels special when your done.
@@haydengeorge4345 Haha, thats a great strategy too. I've never heard about someone who complained about paying less 😅
Your generosity is heart felt. Thanks to your saw suppliers for sending you all those saws. And you were able to leave them for Sondra. And the company that sent you work pants and you gave them to him. I would love to send him a 5 star rating. I hope your wife was able to get out and see some of Norway. Huge thanks for all you do. Best wishes for your future. You are amazing.👏👏👏👏
I was really happy to see Sondre get the stuff at the end. He seems like a great guy and he REALLY needed some new pants 😄
Super stoked you gave him the saws
Awesome man! That's really touching! I love how you are supporting a young and buddy arborist. He will never forget you!
Man iv loved watching you two working together! Im blown away by Sandres efforts with all that stuff working against him. It's been great watching you help out and teach him a few things!
That’s awesome of you helping Sandre out. Hope his business goes well. What an experience! Congrats for you as well, I’m sure that was an awesome time for you as well. Look forward to more of your experiences 👍🏾
So awesome you and the people who gave you the gear were able to go ahead and help sondre. He's one of the very few young bucks doing it on his own who has a solid work ethic. He deserves the saws and pants. Awesome man. What an experience that must have been for you, and him as well. If you ever want to come to New Hampshire, I own a small tree service company myself and I'd be happy to have you come check out the scene here
Not only was it great to watch you work (you make it look so easy!), but it was so cool that you were able to help Sondre out in so many ways! 😎
We need more Sondres in the world!!! He is a genuine, hardworking, awesome guy with a great sense of humor. I want him to be wildly successful and get an opportunity to come to the US and get some more exposure!! I am glad we got to meet him!!!
Jacob its nice what your doing helping and teaching Sondre. I can tell you like him and dont want him to get hurt, by doing stuff you dont usually do yourself up there, i hope you know what i mean. Those are very big trees for even a seasoned arborist to be doing alone. I would be afraid to leave this job for Sondre to finish alone, he is such a great guy and he really wants to learn and he trusts you. But you cant teach him everything in 3 days. Its too bad you couldn't take him under your wing and make him a great arborist that he's meant to be. You are a good teacher Jacob, caring and patient. Take care, stay safe. M.
Thanks to helping Sondre and sharing you knowledge!
🕊🙏🏻❤️🕉💙🌲🪵
You can get mostly shipped to norway, but with shipping/tax it gets mad expensive.. Great video Jacob
What an awesome video Jacob! I love that Husqvarna gave Sondre those saw's! I think he was overwhelmed by the generosity. Hats off to you Jacob for giving him your pants! I would love to see Sondre come to the U.S.A. He weally does need a wood chipper!
Much respect for you and Sandre! I also started when I was 18,and it's still going tough. You helped him in ways you can't imagine. Keep up the good work! Hope you can come to South Africa one day.
Wow, that's awesome he will never forget reaching out to you and going through what he did to get you over there! You have made a lasting impression on him hats off! To you, husky, the pants, all the knowledge! Outstanding!
Great to see the sharing and learning and getting after it! It’s hard work. Keep being safe!
Great video and great work thanks to you I learn new techniques as a pruner in France and I improve my English.
Thank you ;)
Wow have tons of respect for Sandre!! Followed him on Facebook the first video! Still amazed at how clean thay sawmill was lol! I really hope he has success and with his work ethic and attitude he will be successful!! I wish a company would send him a care box of ropes and tackle as well! So awesome for the pants and saws! Love Husqvarna!
Sondre is amazing and a great guy! I can imagine that you supported him so naturally! Keep up the good work you two!
I'm really impressed with those husqvarna battery saws
Try to get a ticket for him to the States ... he must have worked his butt off for your ticket ... it would be a lifetime experience for him ....
Great thing you have done for Sondre and the climbing community.
I would put a few 💲 together to get him out from Norway and send him to Jacob to do some tree work in Washington. Anyone else keen?
I would too.
Great series Jacob! Best of luck to Sondre, very touching story....I wish you the best.
Great job helping that young man with his new tree man business
you just got to admire Sondre's determination. Maybe one day you will get back to Norway when he has a successful company, that would be cool to see👍👍
Hats off to Sandre and best wishes on your company growing !!
It would be amazing to hear that Sondre has been able to hire some help. It seems like there is going to be a lot of work for him.
What an amazing country, I would absolutely love to live there!!!!
That's awesome u hooked dude up . Great work bro .and happy travels
Couple of good dudes. Great video Jacob. Great content. Way to go Husky. God bless these fine young arborists and keep them safe.
You're a good dude Jacob. Really proud of you and I don't even know ya. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us.
Sandre...if you are reading the comments...good luck in your business and hopedully your passion. Keep on keepin on and perfect your craft. Stay safe out there. Cheering you on young man. Thanks for having Jacob.
Like you have explained, the situation of Sandre is not easy. We can see well that your help (not only material) was precious for him and he deserves it. Be care full is you invite Sandre into your country that he will come back with a bigger chain saw to cut several trees at once :). Hope that you keep in touch with him. Thanks for sharing.
How did you not give yourself enough time to finish the trees?
From on continent to another giving yourself a couple of days seems like the best idea.
Amazing job you guys. So fun to find these videos from my home area, havent beent there for years. I think I worked with a Grimås there 30 years ago. And Sondre, if you need gear, I have a lot of contacts, feel free to hook up.
Great job! Especially giving him support and good review. He needs to get a Utube channel going, people would help him raise money gear.
His links are in the bio!
I'm loving the traveling videos. Super cool to see how it's done in other parts of the world. Sandre is awesome. Keep it up.
What an awesome young man , best of luck to him . Loved this trip , what a beautiful country ! .
I have to give sondre props for the great camera work! Gotta love the chip shower on the camera!
I'm LOVING the content on the new channel!
The old channel I'd watch, but skipped a lot of the video. This channel.................honestly, of the videos I've watched I haven't skipped any part of them! I'm slowly getting caught up on what I've been missing out on.
Husqvarna helping this young man out is frickin awesome! Glad I went The Husky even more now over Stihl. Will continue to be a loyal customer. My Husky is wonderful that I own
What a great video, and so amazing you had the ability to give that young man all that stuff. That is an experience he will never forget! Sandre is a dang good man!!! Great job Jacob 👊🪓🌲
Thanks Jacob and sondre. Really beautiful scenery. Best of luck sondre. Jacob where are we going next that was great. Your living
Should have brought Dirty Randy in your luggage - best ground guy in the World!
Sandre is an inspiration! such a young man working so hard to build his own business! It would be a great idea to have him over to the states to work with you!
YES JACOB! Such a sick vide dude, Sondre seems like a genuine good dude. He's got his work cut out for him but i'm sure the more work he does the more effcient he'll become. Keep travelling dude and spread the word. There's got to be a few companies in the UK that will hit you up.
The pointing with the ice cream cone had me dieing lol 🤣
Been in similar situations and you handled that very well. Very patient. You're a gentleman. And that kid has the drive. Just bit off more than he could chew.
Good teacher Jake, Sander will manage, finally some nice weather
Quite a job this one, well done
its been a total blast following this serie of treework in norway. and i appriciate the Handy sollutions without all the stuff.shows it can be done just with some climbing gear and a good helper.
Ill wait with my comment so it all doesent come the same day :P
Great job you do Jakob, and Sandre what a viking, fun to watch your films greetings from Sweden
Good job guys😊
Woohoo! I was hoping Sandre would get the saws! So awesome.
As a father, I really just want to hug this boy (man) and tell him he is doing good.
Sondre really needs to go online to order. I live a few hours away from him and i can get anything i whant within a few days. If i order from USA it is max 7-10 days wait, so we not as backwaterd as you might think.
WE ALL HAVE BEEN IN THE SAME POSITION AS SONDRE A T ONE TIME OR ANOTHER!
BUT THAT'S HOW WE LEARN OUR LIMITATIONS ! AND ALSO IT IS A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN HOW TO ADAPT !
THANK GOD,THAT THE CUSTOMERS ARE FRIENDS,AND IT IS NOT ON A CITY STREET! SO IT SHOULD BE LOOKED AT AS A GOOD THING! A LITTLE LEARNING LESSON! AND ANYONE,NEW IN BUSINESS,WILL FIND THEMSELVES IN THE SAME PREDICAMENT!
AND ONCE HE FIGURES OUT WHAT TO DO NEXT,HE WILL BE SO MUCH MORE CONFIDENT!
I BEEN THERE MORE THAN ONCE, AND I SURVIVED,, AND I RETIRED 7YEARS AGO,SO I SURVIVED A LONG TIME!
AND HE SEEMS LIKE A VERY DETERMINED YOUNG MAN,HE WILL MAKE IT!
TELL HIM,I TOLD YA SO!!
AND I AM ACTUALLY PROUD OF YOU BECAUSE HE HAS LEARNED A LOT FROM YOU, IN THE FEW MINUTES YOU SHARED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH HIM,THAT HE WOULD NEVER HAVE GOTTEN OTHERWISE!
It takes balls to start a business at that age. Hats off.
Great job and wonderful support for Sondre! I love, what you did.
Dude the only ground crew you need is Felipe’ and Randy is the Mandy. With those 2 might not even need a chipper they’d just make it disappear 😂
Jacob you are a good man. Well done for all you have done 👏
Very inspirational work !
Jacob ur awesome man. One of the best and way to give back to brand new guys
What a cow pie his dad is! Great kid, props to his mother for teaching him responsibility and what you can do if you stick with it, not just quit and run away! 👍
This is really a sad reality in today's world.I thought it only happened in the good Ole U.S.A,I say the young man is a upright citizen in his beautiful country of Norway,
You did good Jacob - even though I was a thousand miles away, I could see that. 👏🏻👏🏻
I too wish Sondre every success as he grows his business, he is indeed am inspiration! After you left, I couldn't help be reminded of how the Beatles sang - "...And when he (Sondre) awoke, he was alone; (the WA arborist) bird had flown... Norwegian Wood."
This was an awesome series. Super cool you could give him all that gear. It was also cool to see how to do a job without all the fancy gear.
I love trees and I love good craftsmen...
This is my torture!
Really like this! Found your channel through a few shorts, very informational, learning a lot! Don't have a saw and live in an apartment but still really enjoy this. Also like Sonder, great with you getting to see Norway and how they do things and Sondre gets tips and taught great new things. You're both awesome people!
Lycka till i framtiden Sondre, hoppas du kan få komma över till USA och se Jacob's arbete i staterna!
If you wanna come down to Florida and help us out with hurricane Ian jobs we got jobs for days. All you need is your climbing gear and clothes.
I’ll bring the whole crew down and the equipment let me know what you guys need
