Longer videos are fun sometimes but don't be afraid to make some shorter videos too. Like a 5-10 minute video these are my climbing saws, these are my felling saws. Equipment overview etc... pumping put some 5 minute some videos can help you get rolling and we would all love to watch them.

So nice to have a chance to watch Peter crushing it. Fixed D harness, Munster hitch, swinging a 440 round like a 20 and taking massive tops. I am off to revisit his crane removal video and throw pointless climbing equipment out of my bag. Great new channel Jake!

Great vid. I know it's hard to get guys to converse when on camera, but it adds a lot to a video when personal insights are shared with viewers. Your conversation around the fire added a lot. If each member of the crew could add their story too, it would be great.

I especially like the idea of adding each crew member adding their story. Would have liked to know the really tall dude's story too. With a decent length bar, he could be a human telescopic pole saw.

You set the bar high with the last channel but this video at least hit said bar or exceeded.
For those wanting shorter videos, a split right after the first night's fire would have been a good place to start a separate video if you wanted to, but I kept interest for the whole thing.
Thank you for showing specs for the saws, gear, and equipment. What was the tree guy's big saw? The model plate was rubbed off. It kinda reminded me of an old 066 or something like that. I like the focus on the model number for the chipper and other times where you could see either on the item itself or added text on the video. Some of us are spec junkies. I wouldn't mind knowing more about the chip truck and skid steer in that regard. The discussion about the saddles was appreciated.
Since this is a new tree company for the channel/new tree guy you’re working with, I liked that you mentioned his preferred method of sharpening (square ground) and showing it.
Also liked the talk about the balance between safety and productivity.
I would love if a youtuber with some publicity such as you would talk about the pros and cons of developing a wedge that was double thickness in one piece. Instead of being a point at the front, it would be just a bit thinner than the butt end of a single, maybe start at 1/2" or 3/4" and end at 2 inches thick or thicker. Would that make sense instead of hacking through stacked wedges like we all do? Is there a reason that wouldn't work or wouldn't be safe? I get sick of dealing with stacked wedges when I need to use them and sometimes I'm tempted to use old wide steel splitting wedges hoping there's still room for the saw in front of their points... I haven't really tried that yet though.

Jake, with the amount of amazing scenery, crazy tree cutting action, and detailed explanations of the theory behind why you are doing what you do, you make the videos as long as you need them to be and we will all watch every minute of them. You need to come visit down here on the Gulf Coast after a hurricane. We have some seriously crazy situations with all the big live oaks and long leaf pines that lean into structures and each other. You would love figuring out some of those puzzles.

One thought is that yes, the video might be too long. 20-30 min is a sweet spot where there can be depth of content, but not too long for one siting. If you break a longer video into parts, your channel visitors will come back repeatedly, which creates a habit of watching each one of your videos. Just one guy's thoughts.

When you were at the top of the tree where you were cutting off and throwing small rounds of wood, you were actually looking at Vancouver Island in Canada. I know because none of the San Juan or Gulf Islands are that long. I live in Victoria about five kilometres from a beach where I can look across the water and see a couple of the San Juan Islands. It really is a beautiful part of the world to live in!

I like when climbers have to tackle non-plumb trunks and limbs. Angles are our everyday reality when we do commercial and residential tree removal around here in deciduous/hardwood tree country (WV and PA). We don't really have to worry about the 100+ foot tall heights as much, but the large, heavy, wide branches on these hardwoods are a bit challenging. I've seen you master these before but it'll be nice to see you do it again for this new channel. Our trees are at least straight in the woods, but everywhere else they're every angle on the protractor.
