Great information! Thank you sharing! 👍👍
Very informative! Thank you! I'm going to double check all my trees.
Great information. Thanks. Good luck with Dorian
Thank you
My juniper chinises has turns brown and was wondering till now. Thank-you
Jason great videos, very informational. I live in south Texas we also have a brutal summer and was wondering besides the sun cover you mentioned. What soil you recommend, most videos I've seen is for northern states. Went to local nursery and was just told my procumbes nanas will die in South Texas
👍🏆
Very, very good video on juniper pest control. You mentioned bagworms but did not provide a remedy or any control methods for these most devastating critters. Picking off the obvious cocoons is easy, but miss just one, and a future problem will most certainly reappear when the hundreds of eggs hatch in spring.
Great information I'm in northern Iowa what should I watch for here?
Is Abamectin ok to use on Junipers for spider mites?
I have a mild outbreak on a nice shimpaku kishu, and I want to nuke em. The tree looks healthy, just a few spots where the foliage is dull.
I tried fatty acid based insecticidal soap spray, but they are still present. So want to try a miticide.
those bag worms are the strangest looking things, almost looks like a part of the tree if you didn't know.
Exactly
What if your bonsai is not drying out. I have a bonsai I ordered from California and it’s soaked. I ordered aggregate from bonsai supply. My gut is telling me to repot.
You have to monitor your watering. At this point in central Florida, I don't repot junipers. If it's in bad mix and soil stays soaked, you have to make sure it isn't watered until it drys out a bit. Even if you have to protect from rains. Repot next early spring, unless you live up north.
Jason Schley ok thank you. I live in crystal river Florida. It rained a lot and I left it out but I’ll start protecting it from the rain
Is central Florida like Virginia?
2 to 3 heat zones different, depending on where you live. It's a bit different, but still the south
