Good points well made. Here’s my contribution to the discussion. I’m in the process of selling my mint black 997C2S manual which I thought was going to be it, my future classic. However, I think there’s another factor in play which is where you can drive such a rapid and complete all rounder? Much to my dismay, I’m feeling increasingly like a criminal driving the automotive equivalent of a chemical weapon. Use it as intended and you’ll be cast out from society. So I thought, what would be fun at less than 60mph and I landed on a Morgan. Initially what caught my attention is our local Stirling Moss, a man of very advanced years who drives his red plus 8 around Cumbria roof down, year round. I finally bumped into him at a show and he explained that he’d covered over 300,000 miles in his early 70s model. The paintwork’s faded, with the odd dent, but for me says real motoring. My issue with my 911 is while incredible, glorious on full song, somehow a Morgan is more of an event, making every journey special. Good luck with the channel and I’d love to see an episode where you reviews the Morgan Mid Summer for your designer insights
Well said! I do think Porsches are more convenient and idiot proof with the traction etc I think with a Morgan you need to be a more competent driver but at least that protects the brand from pretenders! I would love to do a review I might contact the factory and see if I can wrangle a tour too!
I agree with your selection! Also 1st and 2nd generation Elises could go up in value in future😊

Il take the turbo. Although, id be tempted by a poor mans Carrara GT - Audi R8 Mk1 Manual V8
DB9 would be my pick (although i do prefer the Vantage more)
