been running my business for 3 years now and learning a lot from you. one thing i can say is don't cater to those who only support you when they want certain things. its ok to say no to them. focus on those who come in everyday and support your business. you're not going to lose out on anything. keep up all the awesome contents!
So good brother. Started doing bulk on Tcgplayer for a few months. Then would buy lots of hits at 60-70 percent. Now able to buy collections and sealed lots. Just from your videos and others I've done 70k on Tcgplayer in 6 months. Rob you are the man!
@@tlanimass952 mostly Facebook marketplace. People seem to always want to liquidate their collections. I've only been doing pokemon so far. Definitely a part time side hustle
Been watching your videos for a while now. Good talks. Really enjoy your content. Hope the healing goes well. Someday i hope to be successful like you are.
Hey man, been watching your videos and opened up my own seller page. Your advice about doing the hard work of sorting bulk appeals to me, but i can seem to find any at price points that make sense. I assume the boxes of 1000 bulk cards sold on ebay for 20 bucks are being moved by other stores who have picked them over, and so arent a good buy. In fact the only way ive found to make a consistent return is to pick up precontructed decks that are on sale for below the cost of the cards inside, break them down, and list the singles. Do you have any advice on where to find the kind of bulk you are talking about? Ive made the rounds at my local flea markets and checked theough marketplace and ebay, with no luck so far.
Love cracking packs and look forward see you also getting better. I do things my way but slowly, I am not going to burn myself out on working like hell again. But I have other incomes. Study and learn is my motto, if people not like it there is not the end of the world.
I’ve been pushing and pushing. Think studying and learning is the way to not keep spinning your wheels, as well as staying around for the long haul. That being said, a lot of learning comes from action or “doing” too.
I will never understand the rip and ship mentality, the best part of ripping packs is doing it yourself, especially with friends or your kids. You end up paying more for the product when you get some chucklehead to break it for you online. Plus most of the rip and shippers constantly break street date.
I always appreciate your advice. I'm not sure how I could make consistent high margins on super low-end bulky bulk other than accumulating a massive amount of it. My store currently has 45K cards listed and like 2% of my sales is cards that I bought as bulk. I'm thinking that maybe if I was a TCGp Direct seller that might help move the low end super bulk. Or maybe re-packs is a way to get some good margins on bulk.
been grinding out bulk sales on tcg for a year and a half now, just started branching out onto ebay, still plenty to learn! thanks for all the videos and advice man, been watching for a long time now!
🔨 Thank you for the video. Great advice in this hot market: Don't just chase easy wins. Nothing is easy at first. Build a strong foundation and diversify! I appreciate you. 🙏
Hey! great video, Informative as always. I heard you mention selling cards on amazon and after a quick look on your channel, I couldnt find anything, could yo udo a video talking about the differences of selling on amazon vs ebay and tcgplayer? do you sell bulk bundles on amazon to get rid of some of the slow moving low value stuff? very curious about that, Thank you!
This goes for anything in life, building something takes time and effort. Everyone wants instant gratification these days and motivate themselves by looking at the most successful 0.1% expecting to be in the same spot in no time without taking the effort and doing things properly. Do things properly, take your time, keep at it and success will come with the years.
Bro. One of your best videos. Commander masters. I watched your videos when you bought hell of that set that tanked like no other set. 1 - 2 years later 100k on fallout..... Healty mentality. Is not for everyone.
I just sell cards for fun, I like sitting at my desk at work and shooting the shit with my friends and collecting a paycheck. But much respect to you and your grind my friend!
Talk about MSRP. Alpha isn’t a retailer and thinks it doesn’t matter but I suspect it matters a lot to retailers. Is msrp too low to make a profit? Or is it what it would need to be to make a profit
You’re going to have to get people to come to you. Start an ad maybe an instagram and advertise that you buy. You’re not going to find much if you looking for active listings
Also for those being silly, whenever possible, hold on to that sealed product that isn’t selling well. I just broke down WOE commanders that weren’t worth the rip till now 🤷🏽♂️

I'm looking for tips if you are willing to help.
That's my plan I'm just starting off so it's good to see people have been here and done exactly that.

I already did the mowing lawns and become a helicopter pilot thing. All that's left for me is to sell cards.

Started our website out the gate. No sales for the first 3 months.
@@JacobReimschussel I feel you, it’s very had to get organic traffic. I’d say the only way is by content creation now.

Where can I buy bulk for cheap? Tried scanning FB, craigslist, etc... and people are selling bulk for like 5-10 cents a card...

Is there a reason you don't sell DBS Fusion World?
@@RichyDojo DBS comes out and implodes.
Yeah. Anyone can do good in Q4 2024 during the holidays when TCG is on fire. Let's see how you do in the summer of 2026. Summer 2023 was rough man..
Do people actually buy cards that are sold for pennies?
@@1s2dl3 I don’t sell cards for pennies, so I don’t really know.
I learned don’t buy Master sets 😂
😂😅i gotta know. Who is this strawman you speak of. You've referred to these people you've worked with in several videos now lol
