A class act - clearly a little way down the bill at this gig but comes out like a headliner. A true professional who knows how to play to a festival crowd and probably made a lot of new fans that afternoon. Everlong was a lovely touch. Just started reading his first book and it is a great read, from the last Million Dead gig to his rebirth as a solo artist.

I will definitely be seeing these guys when they play The House of Blue, Dallas in October. I can only hope the show is half as good as this one. Fantastic.
+John Feole I've seen Social D at least 10 times, and they always put on a good show. This is also coming from someone that listens to mostly punk. Always lively.
So ein müdes Publikum unfassbar!!!!! Hauptsache Sonnenbrille auf und denken Spiel mal !!!, Frank Turner erinnert mich an den frühen Springsteen. Sensationell!!!
+Thomas Stoer Like someone else already said: it was the last day of the festival, Frank was on really early, it was really hot and pretty much nobody knows him here :'( We were having a good party at the front though!
+1993remco After his show in Utrecht sunday, I think this has been put to shame.. Sold out, great atmosphere and awesome crowd! I was standing with my back to the mixer and I have never seen a crowd at a Frank Turner show go so crazy as then! My first concert in Holland (being danish) and it blew my mind how intense the audience is there...!
I think he's trying to sing (ofcourse the pronunciation is off here and there): Niet iedereen groeit op als een astronaut Of geboren als Willem-Alexander Niet iedereen wordt groot net als Herman Brood Maar iedereen kan proosten met elkaar Ik ben nooit echt een perfect persoon geweest En ik heb mijn moeder niet trots gemaakt Maar wanneer ik begraven wordt zeg ik: "ik heb het wel geprobeerd" Dat is het enige loflied dat telt Dat is het enige loflied dat telt ------------------------------------------------ Not everyone grows up to be an astronaut Or is born like Willem-Alexander (the Dutch King) Not everyone makes it like Herman Brood (late Dutch rock'n'roll icon and painter) But everyone can raise their glass together I've never really been a perfect person And I haven't made my mother proud But when I'm buried I'll say: "At least I tried" That's the only paean that counts That's the only paean that counts Quite similar to the original English lyrics
Ultra Central He's not very popular here in the Netherlands and he was the opening act of the third and last festival day. I say Frank is doing an amazing job for this crowd!
+Ultra Central Yup, they're not that well known here in the Netherlands, so in a festival crowd the crowd is kinda dead. I really enjoyed it though, such a great performance. And in January I'll see him again :D

I really like Frank Turner. He's so uplifthing without being soppy or cliched about it.
Saw him live in Dortmund, Germany the other day and I was completely blown away. What an incredible show to end the Covid concert hiatus
Best pro-shot Frank Turner performance. I come back to this every other week 😂

+Scott Hurst he puts on an amazing show. I hadn't been that stoked to see a band perform since seeing Social Distortion in 2004
+John Feole Saw Social D a few years back, great live band.

In going too! Big fan for years and my first time seeing him.
Love it when he start singing in Dutch! 21:30
I also love Cahir’s little entrance music 🤣
Great video/audio quality ! Love this band, see you in the States this fall :-)

I fucking love frank seeing him again at Leeds this year cannot wait!!!!!
They were so great in concert at Red Rocks 2016!
Why on earth are the crowd not going wild?? Just booked tickets to see him in May, and I’ll be going crazy!! 😝
Thanks for the upload, great set!
See you in Chicago or Philly this fall!!!
Freakin' awesome!!!
wow hahahahha he said like the exact same thing Laura Marling said before she sang Hope in the Air at the Into the Great Wide Open festival
DOPE !!
Adam Duritz from Counting Crows watching from the side of the stage at 41:29!

i think the bassist is hopped up on something. not saying it was drugs, but it was definitely drugs.
nah! He's just always feeling it! Thats so cool! :)
Nah, he's just got a weird style
Tarrant is actually a really soft spoken guy off stage lol I met him in Columbus OH and he's super relaxed when he's not playing
Can anyone tell me what the dutch lyrics are when Frank sings Eulogy? Dank je wel!
I think he's trying to sing (ofcourse the pronunciation is off here and there):
Niet iedereen groeit op als een astronaut
Of geboren als Willem-Alexander
Niet iedereen wordt groot net als Herman Brood
Maar iedereen kan proosten met elkaar
Ik ben nooit echt een perfect persoon geweest
En ik heb mijn moeder niet trots gemaakt
Maar wanneer ik begraven wordt
zeg ik: "ik heb het wel geprobeerd"
Dat is het enige loflied dat telt
Dat is het enige loflied dat telt
------------------------------------------------
Not everyone grows up to be an astronaut
Or is born like Willem-Alexander (the Dutch King)
Not everyone makes it like Herman Brood (late Dutch rock'n'roll icon and painter)
But everyone can raise their glass together
I've never really been a perfect person
And I haven't made my mother proud
But when I'm buried
I'll say: "At least I tried"
That's the only paean that counts
That's the only paean that counts
Quite similar to the original English lyrics
Thanks / dank je wel! I lived in the Netherlands for a year but I'm terrible at languages!
Centuary?
what do you want from me now
Playing guitar soon ella he.
