How to reach -
Let's first discuss where is Elora Gorge is located, Well it is situated at the western edge of Elora, Ontario, Canada, which is 25 km north from the city of Guelph through highway 6.
If you are travelling from Greater Toronto area (GTA), The cheapest option would be by driving, it is around 120 KM away from Toronto and will take around 1 hours 30 minutes.
We drove from Mississauga and it took us around 1 hours 10 minutes.
What to do -
The Main attraction is the Grand River, flows through the bottom of the gorge, approximately 2 kilometers long, with limestone cliffs reaching 22 meters high. This area includes a park with camping sites, hiking trails, and is also popular for kayaking and tubing.
Located nearby is the "old swimming hole", at the Elora Quarry Conservation Area.
