Wow! I never even knew Elora Ontario Existed lol.. Definately worth a visit in the spring, summer or fall. Lodging wise.. Yikes Elora Mills is pricey $$$. I did a little research and found airbnb’s, bed and breakfasts in the area are more affordable. You can also consider staying in Guelph and driving up there if you have a car. Great video as always! ☺

During low season I guess you can get much lower rates, but it's still on the very high end. AirBnb is definitely a great option!

It looks very nice. I just checked the price on the website and it's $750/night CAD. That's a bit pricy for me, especially if it does not include the spa. Did you get a better rate during your stay?

It was a company event, so we were lucky to get accommodation paid for. Otherwise it may not have happened :) I think that during low season there should be lower rates, I haven't looked into it!

Nice ... I wanted to go to Elora Mills but it is a bit pricy :) Hard to justify 2 nights at the Mill as for the same price I could do 1 week all in in Punta Cana :)
BTW Blue Montain is nice too in case you have never been ...

It is quite pricy, so we didn't extend another night :) I'd love to go to Blue Mountain one day, haven't been there!

I am glad that you have enjoyed your trip and everything was as you have expected. Can I ask how much is a night in the mill hotel ?

    • @LivinginCanada

Thank you! At that time I think it was about $700 (it was a company trip, so we don't know exactly), but during lower season months it could be lower. It's expensive, but for a special occasion it's worth it!

I was wondering where all the people were too. I assume it was a Saturday. Downtown Brantford, ON is similar after 5 pm. Most shops close after that time.

I gotta figure out how to visit all these places while working remotely, since some companies don't like when you work outside the US. But still visiting Montreal in Feb, can't wait to turn into an ice sculpture while eating crepes outside.

In her video she says this hotel is expensive thinking it's around $700 or $800 per night. When in fact try more than double. The cheapest room is $1450 what a rip-off. Nothing special about the room, looks like a holiday in hotel room.

What are you smoking, there isn't a town in Ontario let alone canada worth visiting let alone paying $1450 for one night for the cheapest room at the Elora Mill hotel. Canadia is becoming a 3rd world country thanks to Trudeau.
