If you like the idea of the show-it pouch then take a look at the 5.11 All Hazards Prime or Nitro. I use the Prime for hiking. I put a dry bag in the shove-it to expand the entire pack for easy access gear, but stil rain protected. Only draw back is that the pack sticks out more than normal in the back. Not a problem if gear in the back is light weight. Water bottles can be shoved in the show-it area but the Hazards also have molle on the sides if you wan't to attach water bottle pouches there. The Hazards also have attachment points at the bottom where I strap another dry bag for further space. AMPs lack those attachment points what I can tell.
Nice review. Just got the AMP 12 with the Shove-It Pouch. I saw a youtuber had removed the bottom buckles from the main bag, so they wouldn't interfere with connecting this pouch. I did a quick check, and yes the buckles are split so they can be removed.
My amp 24 has been amazing and I've been wanting to get some additional admin for the field of velcro or the hex molle. But it has surpassed my expectations on the main reasons I went with it. There are absolutely no signs of wear in the past 6 months, except for a sort of polishing wear on the foam back padding, which doesn't bother me whatsoever. The thing has gotten pretty dirty at times and I've yet to make an effort to clean it, and yet it still looks pretty much brand new. There is plenty of versatility to set it up any way you want and you can buy add-ons to add any functionality that you may deem to be missing. It may not be the most stylish like some of vertex's bags, but it is kinda grey mannish and tacticool.
Is there a way to remove the buckles attached to the bag since they won't be needed if you use this attachment? I find they just get in the way, but I don't want to permanently damage them to remove them. Great video!
Do you think this could be adapted to backpacks from other brands using swift clips, etc? I’m looking at putting this on a Tasmanian Tiger Medic Assault pack.
Nice add-on for a well conceived packing arrangement in the AMP. Too bad the actual carry and shoulder straps (fixed, no lifters and horribly shaped) is embarrassingly bad. Both 5.11 and Vertx need to up the game on their packs suspensions/carry under load.
Honestly, the only issues I've had, which to me is kind of nitpicking, is that the left strap sometimes will catch on my belt loop with every step. Kind of annoying, but is fixed by carrying the bag a little higher up on my back. And the straps sometimes will dig into the inside portion of my biceps, but as soon as I buckle the sternum strap, the bag becomes much more comfortable. A couple of people have poked fun at me for always using the sternum straps, no matter if I'm just walking into work or actually running. But I tell them that it makes it a lot more comfortable and stable on my body. But I've never had fatiguing or hotspots if I wear it to my liking.
Good video! a question, for general use, which one chooses from these knives? Esee PR4 or Becker BK62 or Esee Laser Strike or Tops Camp Creek? Greetings!!!
javier soria thanks for watching. I have not used the Becker bk62 yet so I can’t speak to that blade. The ergo on the PR4 were not to my liking. So, it comes down to do you like choils and 1095 or no choil and s35vn?
The lack of dedicated water bottle pouches kept me away from the Amp 12. I don’t know if I want my pack to become a series of systems that just keeps costing me money. I ended up buying The North Face Router Pack. However, very good review. Thank you.
I did this and if you buy the admin pouch in the same time so it worth it! Love my AMP12 but don't worry I'll always keep my trustworthy Rush12 for my whole life 💪🏻

This attachment is only limited by imagination. Paired with paracord, I can use it to carry my 40” longboard. The functionality is amazing!
I received this shove it addition for my AMP72 and it completes my pack 100%, its awesome! Love it!
This gear set made my amp 24 my dream bag! the functionality is amazing
same here! adopted!
Is amp 72 too big for edc?
@@S3aCa1mRa1n yes I think so

Bought the all hazards nitro specifically for that helmet pocket. Perfect for my welding helmet
I like it because I can see myself using it more so for dirty racing clothes and shoes or boots after my obstacle course races.
it looks very handy for my small amp 12
Came to rewatch and just noticed that you and I have the same STAY RAD patch on our AMPs.
Got one for my amp 10 when it was on sale.
If you're currently looking for shove-it gear set. 5.11 Philippines have full colors in stock. They're on sale, 2,500 pesos or 40 bucks.
That's good to know, thanks!
I just bought the amp 24 and I think I might need this.. Would be great for a bike helmet of after a work out when my boxing gloves are all sweaty
Lots of added pack space is always A Plus.
....i have the same "stay rad" patch on my amp12. Now I have to change it. Thanks bro

Your opinion about this backpack after one year of use?
Still have two of them as my go bags in my vehicles and love them. Holding up really well
very good video man
I have the amp24 I want to buy the amp12.
the backpacks are great rush 12 and 24, but the amp line is more discreet
Thanks for watching 👍
Edit: Not C-hooks but G-hooks
Thanks for the review.
Love the modified G-Shock 5600 too! Great review. This bag seems perfect. @gideonstactical what compass have you on there? Suunto?
Hi! Great review👏🏻 5.12 AMP 12/24 or Vertx Gamont? What do you think?
What about the extra female buckles, you didnt mention this. Any option to tuck away or remove?

Toby R interesting, loaders always help but haven’t had issues with these packs carrying the load

Do they have similar for the Rush system?
Sarge PalmettoVIP not at this time
gideonstactical ok thanks Gideon
My rush 72 has a thing very very similar to this.
wildairsoft1 ahhh I have the 12
Good review bro, does that fit AMP12?
Would it work on the Rush series?
Not sure I do not have a rush pack at the moment.

@@gideonstactical As a reference I have a Becker BK16 and Esee JG5, I love them! Which Knife of that size would you recommend? Greetings!
Can you put a pair of boots there ?
Very cool.
Very nice !

Boweimer 1 totally understand
Where can I get your logo patch?
Is it worth upgrading from Rush 12 to AMP 12? (As an EDC backpack)
I did this and if you buy the admin pouch in the same time so it worth it! Love my AMP12 but don't worry I'll always keep my trustworthy Rush12 for my whole life 💪🏻
Yes the amp 12 is better for edc in my opinion, much lighter weight, more streamlined, less military looking, more comfortable to wear
will this be compatible for he rush 12
No, only Amps
This only fits an amp bag? How about the quad zip?
Will this be in the next Division 2 DLC? lol
