    Great video ! Straight to the point showing functionality not just opening a bag and showing all the empty pockets (usually leaving one with a not so sure feeling um will this fit , will that fit ??? ). I was able to see the features , learn about hidden pockets and the setup you have to start with (keeping in mind no pouches included, it’s meant for you to build your own to your custom needs)..which in my opinion is ****ing awesome...however it’s gonna hit you back at the checkout stand. It a no brainer...I want one . Btw, Thanks for posting your video on you tube buddy . You saved me a ton of trial and error/returns ect to find that perfect bug out out bag , appreciate it buddy 🤙🏼.

    Oh yeh, I forgot to include a tip that might work for folks needing camo more than the colors currently offered. I suggest getting the green and attaching the natural camo via the environment your in when needed. Very similar to weaving small branches with leaves ect to a natural weave in Guille suit . Given you can attach from so many angles and points it’s quite possible and doubles to give you flexiblity to be low key as well by simply pulling the vegetation out and continuing on your merry way. Regular molle doesn’t really work for this application due to the lack of attachment angles/points leaving you unconvincingly comprimized . I tried it out and it worked out amazingly well. I suggest purchasing a second Molle slab so one is for natural environment/camo fastening and one is for attaching Molle pouches that is to spec tight and right . Damage may occur due to possible stretching or slight damage from sticks , leaves , thorny bushes and or brush so having a spare on deck could prove very handy . Hope this tip helps put a few . Happy holidays and god bless 🙏🏼.

      Regular molle doesn't work in the standard carry positions (vertical or horizontal) given in a backpack at all! So true. BUT molle isn't in standard carry positions in a sling pack where molle is at somewhat more ergonomic angles suited for CCW (as is the hex grid system as well). So to me for a backpack the hex grid system a ingenious as it is doesn't work in a BACKpack because to access anything you have to doff the backpack (useless in a need to retrieve situation); now in a chest rig that's quite a different story which is perfect for retrieval of must have items. For me a backpack with molle is great because of more carry options but in itself not good at all either. A backpack with molle and a small CCW sling pack front worn is ideal for SHTF, evac, social unrest, and hostile bug out situations. I still love the hex system so maybe the solution is a chest rig and molle diagonal attachable CCW bag as shown a recent Gideon's Tactical video covering AMP packs.

    I really like mine. I keep a few M.R.E.'s, ammo, Glock 23, clothes and camelback in mine. Still have more room for more stuff. Been meaning to get the admin pouch for it. Im gathering my first aid kit together.

      Jacob W how much give does the back pocket have? The specs say it is only 2” deep. Can I squeeze in something 4” thick?

    • @JacobWinkle
      @JacobWinkle 5 років тому +2

      @@bengillis7503 I'm not sure on that. Tomorrow Ill take a look at that. I think you would be able to. The only reason I say that is because 2 inches is what they say, but maybe over 2 inches might put stress on the stitching. If not immediately, then over time it might. Ill take a look tomorrow morning and see if it can. Im curious. I keep mine in the truck so that when I need to go in a hurry, I have it ready to go when I go on patrol last minute or if I have to stay for a longer shift I'm ready for it.

      @@bengillis7503 Sorry it took me so long. I was able to get it to fit but i was a stuggle. I think that if you did it would over time or maybe even just 1 hike out the stitching would break. I was able to do it and get it to fit but i wouldnt recommend it for longevity of the backpack and stitching. Maybe if its double stitching then it would hold up better.

    SUBBED.
    I love the hex grid system for customization. Perfect.
    For me not having molle or pals and 500D is a no buy. A MUST BUY are the chest rigs also perfect with the hex grid system.
    I love the 5.11 RUSH packs and Maxpedition packs which I own.
    Leaning towards getting a Maxpedition Gyrfalcon and/or 5.11 AMP Carrier (love that hex grid!) and a 5.11 MOAB 6. I see a lot of possibilities in different conditions with this mix up.
    Thanks for the great review!

    Is there not a hydration bladder pocket behind the backing panel? And what are the small clips about two inches above the waist belt? They’re on the side near the grab handle.

    • @minutemanproductions8029
      @minutemanproductions8029  5 років тому +1

      Sorry I forgot to mention there is a hydration bladder pocket on the back panel just like the rush bags, and inside the hydration pocket there are two loops near the bottom to keep a laptop from hitting the ground. And those small clips on the side are part of the compression strap, you hook the compression straps inside those clips and it compresses the rifle case portion.
