when i make a basic leg and foot rig as seen at about 1:25 in the video; rotating the upper leg doesnt make the toes follow through and rotate with it like that? nothing detaches, all the bones and stuff stay together, it just looks like the ankle is locked in place instead of rotating as the leg is pulled back.
It's hard to tell exactly how your skeleton is set up from the text alone, so we can only speculate, but perhaps the toe bones are not below the leg bones in the hierarchy. Make sure the toe bones are a child of the leg bones in the tree view. If this doesn't solve the problem, post a question on the forums with a screenshot of your current rig: esotericsoftware.com/forum/
It is not clear what you mean by 'Spine free', but if you mean the trial version, you can follow this tutorial video with the trial version, as it offers all the editor functions except saving projects and exporting the resulting animation. The trial version has no restrictions on importing files, so you can also download and use the project files we distribute to learn Spine.
Select a region attachment which you want to turn it into a mesh attachment, then check the "Mesh" checkbox in the Tree view. The "Mesh" checkbox is only available in the setup mode. Switching between setup mode and animate mode is done by clicking the icon in the upper left of the viewport: esotericsoftware.com/spine-ui#Setup%2Fanimate-mode
Really like this kind of tutorial! Thanks for it :)
how do you open this more sophisticated graph animating window? like in 4:14
Alt+G in animation mode, or click Views in the upper right, again in animate mode. You need Spine 4.0+.
Wish i saw your video last time I made an walking cycle, the knee popping was a huge problem
Thank you for the video

HOW DO YOU MAKE IT A MESH?

Your mouth is too close to the microphone, there are too many mouth sounds. Almost feels like you're right by my ear.
Muito bom.
