Hi.... I don't play my beats massively loud, a lot of my talking is in bits where the beat isn't playing but for when it is I just have my audio settings for my mic set up. So I have a noise gate set with the threshold being higher then the noise the mic picks up the beat..... It helps that my room has some treatment to, to minimise reverb and lower frequency build up. .... Hope that helps, I could possibly make a video on how I make videos on the future maybe
I record my audio and screen capture via OBS .... On OBS your can add filters to your mic including vst effects..... The gate I use is the waves c1 gate
Thanks for watching and the feedback. I appreciate it.....I think I need to make one that's more of a typical minimalistic griselsda style beat. I always use any feedback to aim to improve
That's certainly a view point i can appreciate....a lot of griseldas beats are often very minimal some without even really using hi-hats. Obviously there's always a balancing act between leaving a beat to empty and over doing it, so I can appreciate your thoughts and will take them into consideration
@@skmakesbeats Thanks man, i'm glad you didn't take offence to my comment. Like you said a lot Griselda beats are quite minimal. I did enjoy the video and i use Analog Lab a lot, it's a great plugin which is what drew me to check out your video. Now subsribing to your channel.
Yeah for sure no offence taken at all. Im really trying to build a community here where we can all discuss beat making and put our opinions accross and all learn from each other. This is the first time I've actually used analog lab as it was sent to me by Arturia and I didnt want to check it out before making the video as I wanted my opinion of it to be fresh. I think it's fantastic though, and i see there's plenty of sound banks available for it from the community to. Thanks for the watch and the sub to, it means a lot to me
In ableton 11 the scale highlighting is in the bottom left of the midi section. If it isnt showing up after clicking the scale you want you can press K on the keyboard which is the shortcut for show and hide the scale highlighting.
Love it.
Thanks!
Bangerrr! I love using Analog lab man its so versatile. Keep up the fire work g 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yeah it's a really nice instrument to navigate etc.... I'm gonna look at creating a free preset bank for it soon
Thanks for the knowledge SK!
Thanks for watching!

I created a Griselda, Westside Gunn, Benny The Butcher, Conway Analog Lab Bank, it's called MARGIELA. Would be happy about a review 🔥
Drop me a message over on insta with a bit of information if that's cool
@@skmakesbeats Hey, I've just seen your message. Do you want to test the bank? Should I write to you on Instagam or send you an email?
How do you record this without having the mic pick up your beat audio ?

It doesn't remind me of the griselda, this sounds definitely different

I thought it sounded a bit busy and slightly over producd if i'm being honest

How did you highlight scales on the piano roll?
