Yall know I love my mini twists but they will be taking a back seat to see how my hair fares stretched; or at least for the 1st half of the year. Today showing how I maintain and care for my hair stretched in jumbo twists.

I've been wanting to steer away from weave protective styles (box braids, sew in, wigs, etc..) as over time they have thinned out my edges and nape area. You've just convinced me that this style is the way to go. I think the mini twist are just to time consuming. I'm going to do these chunkier twists tonight and adopt this same minimalistic routine. I love it. Thank you for the inspiration!

I have purchased yesterday, 4.6.23 your Bhringaraji powder. You stated in one of your videos that you use it 2-3 times weekly. With that being said, then on this video, you oil your scalp. How many oils are using on your hair?

With the revair, yes, minimal product is best. TINY amounts of leave-in and a spray heat protectant are ALL you need. Tension method does not work for me, so revair has really helped, since combing during blowdrying is very damaging to my hair.

That’s so smart to just do the massage prior to moisturizing and re-twisting. I would do that last but end up with a frizzy mess no matter how gentle I massaged. And yes the tangle teezer works much better in smaller sections, definitely makes the detangling process easier. Great video

I was mad the firs time I did that lol, I redid my twists and then massaged my scalp.
The tangle teaser for me works wonders, I just had to make sure I was using the correct one. The first one I picked up from TJ Maxx was a regular one, I was not using the thick and curly. Smaller sections help as well.

Your content in this video is really informative. My hair is thick, three textures (3C-4B) and has grown a lot since I went natural 2 yrs ago. My twists now hang past my neck to mid-shoulders in the back. On the sides to the top of my collar bone and to my chin directly in front of my eyes in the front. This is the first Winter I have had this much hair to deal with and I had begun to really panic! I became concerned about friction on my ends because I wear a lot of sweaters and turtle necks, so I decided to go with twists and change my wash day to every 2 weeks but still didn’t know how to care for twists hanging everywhere. Your videos have revolutionized my Winter hair routine. I have incorporated nearly all of your techniques. My hair is high porosity and loses moisture super fast in Winter….so, I’ve taken to wearing head wraps 100% of the time. This video really showed me how to moisturize my twists between wash days. Thank you for your detailed videos. I especially appreciate that you show hair care techniques in detail. You’ve saved a full head of hair in Kansas!!! 🥰❤️

I agree about Rev Air. I had washed my hair the day before twisted my hair. I had leave-in conditioner. The next day before using Rev-Air I used Olaplex #7 as the heat protectant. The Rev-air was on the highest setting and it didn't remove the texture. My hair didn't become straight.

Sorry it didn't work out for you! It definitely takes some practice. You have to do it on freshly washed hair, limit product use (only a bit of heat protector), then moisturize/oil after reving. But, like everything I guess it may not be everyone.😊

Thank you so much for your content especially the natural hair care so informative and helpful. 💯💯💯 If I may, not trying to preach or anything of the sort, you mentioned how you are loving wearing headwraps and how they make you feel beautiful and regal. You most definitely are. And I'm not sure if you're aware or not, this is something I just found out myself, but one of the reasons why we connect with the headwraps is because that is our original culture. We are the true Hebrews and the true Jews mentioned in the Bible. We are THE MOST HIGH'S chosen people. And these are the end times HE is coming back soon. Again, thank you so much for your videos queen continue to let your light shine. May THE MOST HIGH bless you and your family abundantly. 💯💯💯

      Thank you!
I don't. I try to let my hair do what it wants. I used to mind shrinkage but I do not anymore. If my hair is already in a stretched state and then I add slight moisture to it, it will not shrink to the max. My hair will shrink completely if I wash my hair or douse it.
