Thank you for this comprehensive overview of the current information.
I didn't realize all the LG WOLED screens would have a matte finish. That really takes them out of the running for me.
Yeah same for me. And we would have had to wait longer :D
So either matte coating or gray blacks of QD OLED
@@GewelReal - slightly raised blacks are only with light "on the screen" not in dark environments or normal uses for QD OLED.
So it kind of seems like the segment is pretty obvious for each use case. QD will excel in darker environments with its rich color and sharper text. While MLA LG panels hitting 1300 nits and their fuzzy coating will have daytime sunlight advantages.
you shouldn't be using any OLED in a bright space its just a waste@@GewelReal
Basically if you have a bright room -> WOLED
Dark room -> QD OLED

excellent video, thanks for the recap
good work man
thank you kindly. i REALLY enjoyed watching the whole video. Making easier for the customer to make this awesome buying decision!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the video! This is the information I needed :)
Great video as always
Love this channel.
Your videos are very informative, thank you subscribed!
kudos! this touches on everything relevant that is known so far.
If you're looking to make an other video on these, what would help to estimate on what screens to wait or not wait for:
using your general knowledge about these brands to predict what isn't known so far. For example if a brand has a habit of messing with colors to an extend you can't get an accurate picture, or known to badly implement e.g. Freesync2 in a way it limits brightness, or other known quirks that will deter some buyers.
granted that is guessing, but I'm willing to trust a good guess since these monitors will release months apart.
Thanks!
Interesting that the QD-OLED is 6 months ahead in schedule. Great overview, cheers
The one with DFR other than that I think DP 2.1 models are very attractive
Really great to hear that you want to dive more into the perceived brightness with the panels increased colour gamut. I heard about eye-strain when using the new QD-OLED after 2-5 hours of use and would wish to know more about that and if this has to do with the colour blue (saw that LG advertises somewhat with "eye-friendly" display, but then again I think Samsung does that too).
Here in EU, MSI and Gigabyte models always bring best value/performance , hope to see their models of glossy screen implementation soon
great info thx...
i heard this year or next they all are planning a new type of 3D monitor for gamers and a model with HDR and a high refresh rate.
Super useful video, thank you! Looking like MSI or Asus QD-OLED for me!
Oof, just saw the £1,298 pre-order price in the UK 😬 that feels highly unfair given the
I really don't want active cooling on a monitor after spending so much time and money on making my PC quiet. The problem with fans is that the system is only as quiet as its loudest fan, and no fan (passive cooling) is always better where practical. For now it seems like the Gigabyte version might be the winner with DP 2.1 support, but cooling and other features remain to be seen.
I like the look of the Asus the most. Unfortunate that it will probably come with a hefty Asus tax.
The color accuracy and glossy coating on the QD-OLED combined with Dell’s excellent warranty and it’s not even a competition.
It's curved, so it's good for almost nothing. Putting a a curved panel on 16:9 monitors should be forbidden.
@@airixxxxIt’s a 1700R curve which is basically unnoticeable when sitting in front of it.
@@razmspiele25 so why have it curved then?
@@hoffybeefelikely a design language decision to differentiate it from all the others.
@@airixxxx Curve makes sense for a 32 inch which is almost as wide as a 34 Ultrawide. It feels way more natural. I prefer flat for 27 inch but curved for 32+ inch for sure. Most people think they don't like a curve but then gets used to it and then loves it. Curved = Less eyestrain and less eye movement but only makes sense on bigger displays when you sit close, like most do for PC.
I'm really eyeing the MSI, I wish it had Dolby Vision though.
Extremely dissapointed that only dough is planning on making a glossy version of the lg panel, including many other features (bfi, pixel perfect integer scaling, hopefully uhbr20 and dolby vision, i might be missing some others)
I have the AW3235QF after about 4 years using a G7, 1440p, 240hz….i didn’t think the upgrade would be that amazing and it friggen is. Also, its fan is silent, I cranked it in testing and heard nothing. I don’t know what else to say but buy it if you have the GPU power to run it; I have a 4090FE so it’s been fantastic and the main reason I made the jump….that and the fact that I prefer a curved screen, with glossy finish and at the 32” size (which my G7 was as well).
HP's formal press release resources for the OMEN Transcend 32 UHD 240Hz OLED Gaming Monitor does specifically state DP 2.1, but it does not state what UHBR level is implemented. In the press releasae, there is a Resources button under the Omen Transcend 32 UHD 240Hz. It links out to the spec sheet showing DP 2.1 on the monitor, and an included DP 2.1 cable in the box.
Yes that’s the early spec sheet I was referencing. But they’ve been unable to confirm for me what UHBR speed is being used, if any. Right now I’m sceptical until they can answer what is a pretty simple tech question
@@tftcentral fingers crossed it's the full UHBR20!
@CheekSoda if we get any details we will definitely update everyone. We are chasing 😀
@@tftcentral fantastic, thanks for your great work so far. it's helped me so much with narrowing down what my next monitor purchase should be!
Please review the new LG 27GR95UM with Mini LED display!
Given the reviews that are showing up on LG's site, I'd wait for a firmware update before giving it any real review. It appears that the HDR/local dimming is majorly messed up right now.
The best oled MOnitor would be one with a Glossy Coating since that would be the only real difference between all of them
the same polarizer issues and also higher risk of burn in on qd-oled really pushes me away :(
maybe I'll still get a 42" lg c2
QD-OLED don't have higher burn-in risk unless you listen to LG or the flawed RTINGS test where software that hinders burn-in was not kicking in (firmware flaw). QD-OLED monitors generally have 3 years of burn in warrenty where LG WOLED only has 2 or 0. C2 is mediocre for HDR and PC usage. Barely hits 700 nits peak. Any decent OLED TV or monitor should be able to hit 1000 nits.
They are beautfiul the the AW warranty is simply unbeatable. Unless you dont care about warranty and money, its just top dog. Sadly though a 4090 still wont come close to pushing this to 240 fps if you ramp the quality and details to max. Hell even the 27 1440p oled version at 360 hz is not driveable. Again same thing. Im not even sure a 5080 will sustain that type of fps.
And yes i get it.....lower end games or turning down alot of quality can surely obtain the desired fps. But again. The point of a monitor that looks this good and can perform this fast is using it. And we might be waiting for the 6000 series for 4k 240 or 2k 360 hz to be the norm.
Great Vid.I would love to see an Alternative to Oled video. Just for those that dont want AW and are not interested in burn in risk. I gotta think MiniLed and MicroLed will be a thing soon.
I really wish we could get some of the 4K OLEDs down in the 27-28 inch range. A 32 inch display is just too big for my workspace.
looks like I'll be waiting out that gigabyte one, it has everything I want
I was just yesterday wishing someone knowledgeable would have made this kind of summary video on the many choices available!
Any chance you could include the Gen 3 QD-OLED on your black depth charts when you get a hold of one? Or at least verify if it's identical to Gen 2 in this respect.
Yes we will test those when we get one in
That would be the one with DP 2.1
While the Alienware model does have a fan, it is essentially silent. You have to get your ear right up against the back to hear it.
Something this piece missed is that MSI will have three different 32" QD-OLED models. It's not clear to me what the full differences are, though.
Yup I barely hear it. Very nice monitor but it def needs some fw updates for the red push on many color profiles
Yeah although they’ve been very quiet about all but the 321UXR. There was another expected which just had a slightly different USB-C power delivery I think it was
One basic model, one with USB C PD and better ports overall, and one with AI cheats.
What if the fan stops working after the 3-year warranty?
one of the MSI models is supposed to have DP 2.1 as well @@tftcentral
I think you missed talking about the nits! which is a big deal I have the Alienware 3423dwf which is in a brighter room and at 1000nit peaks it seems super dull. I think the ASUS QD one is saying it will be 1300 peak nits. But I'm really thinking about switching to the W-oled with the matte finish due to the area in which my computer is. I know some people aren't talking about nits due to needing to test to see if the claims are true as well. Just a thought great video!
Actual Glas panel + glossy will be the best
great video!! very helpful...question...are the new panels better or equal for text than lcd?
On the QD-OLED versions I would say it’s now basically the same as an LCD and very very hard to see any difference. The WOLED options remain to be tested when they’re released later in the year
See here for more commentary on it in our recent review tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/asus-rog-swift-pg32ucdm
@@tftcentral thanks a lot
Can you do a best 1440p oled please?
I have a small theory that the special 'matte' coating of the Samsung OLED's may in fact be the same as is used on the new S24 Ultra, which could give it a substantial edge over the glossy panels. Time will tell, but if so, they could definitely be amongst the most 'usable'. This would be a really interesting trickle down from the mobile tech and definitely one to watch.
As a side note, I wrote on a previous video that these monitors may be hobbled by DSC... I'm glad to hear this isn't the case, it's just they're extremely exciting!
That said, the fact that the Alienware for instance cannot turn off DSC regardless of refresh rate is disappointing as it prevents the use of DLDSR. In a lot of older games that are frame capped around 120HZ, having DLDSR to push to 6K could be a really nice boost, so I hope that's unique to that monitor. It's a shame because I liked the curve.
I'll definitely be picking one of these up once a good option is found out - probably the Asus or Odyssey if, as mentioned, that matte coating turns out to be much better than thought.
Will you review upcoming zowie xl2586x which is a 540hz TN panel it has Dyac 2 I like OLED but burn is a deal breaker for me.
Hoping to when it’s available yes 👍
its gonna be an easy choice for me. I cant go back to flat after curved
Think I’ll wait for them 4k ultrawides in 2025. Monster Hunter Wilds should look spectacular on one of those.
which OLED screen are people getting now?
Do you plan to reviiew the AW3225QF? Would love to see your take on it.
Yes as soon as it’s available in Europe 😀
Honestly, the pricing on the MSI model in the USA is INSANE, and I personally think it has a much more pleasing aesthetic design and flat panel.
Honestly I'm a little torn by that price. I got the Alienware version of the monitor and while it's more expensive it's warranty specifically covers burn in. The MSI one doesnt
The pricing is insane but it also is a reflection of how much room there is to discount these monitors and it still be profitable.
@@veilmontTVgood point, the peace of mind of a warranty is almost worth the savings for me, but since these new panels should last more than the 3 years, I don't know if I'm willing to take the risk this generation yet...
@@veilmontTVif the MSI variant sells at Best Buy, going to get there plus geek squad protection (burn in). Dell’s RMA process, while nice to have leaves little to be desired
@houssamalucad753 oh I'm gonna ride this panel hard. I really like that peace of mind.
@TFTCentral I saw you made a "BEST SETTINGS GUIDE" FOR THE MSI MPG321URX, PLEASE MAKE A COMPREHENSIVE SETTINGS GUIDE FOR THE ASUS ROG SWIFT PG32UCDM. IF YOU WILL, CREATE A SDR SETTINGS GUIDE AND AN HDR SETTINGS GUIDE. ALSO, MAKE SURE IT'S USING THE ICC PROFILE ON YOUR PATREON PAGE. PLEASE AND THANK YOU!
We only had that screen with us for a short period of time before launch so didn’t have time to record a settings guide video. But let me see if there’s a good way we can provide some kind of guide at some point 👍
which of the upcoming 4k OLED monitors will have 2 Thunderbolt 4 upstream ports with at least 90w PD to each Thunderbolt 4 port?
The 32" OLED is the first display I though a slight curve might be good, though I am not sure I want to go with the Alienware/Dell version since it seems to be one of the rare ones using active cooling. Also just not a huge fan of Alienware from back in the pre-Dell days.
Dell/AW is still a horrible company but it seems like the monitor team is quite independent.
The fan is pretty silent this time, and Dell has the best warrenty so far, if the curve isn't a deal breaker for you like the rest of us just go for it.
The slight curve I could take or leave, but I can confirm the fan really is silent which surprised me unless maybe it goes bad or you have a very hot room
Very good video thank you! How bad is the ambient contrast with QD-OLED? Compared to a 2-3year old IPS panel, will it be much worse contrast on the QD-OLED at ”normal lighting conditions indoors” compared to the IPS panel…?
No, the OLED should still outperform the IPS in black depth (assuming it’s a normal IPs and not mini LED backlit or something). More info here

@@tftcentral thank you. Great content. When do you think you are able to get your hands on a MSI 321 URX for review?
@droneforfun5384 actively working with MSI on this and expecting to have a sample as soon as they are available in Europe. I’m expecting prob late Feb at the mo, but still TBC
@@tftcentral copy that. Really looking forward to your independant review. Cheers.
Aw3225qf no DLDSR dealbreaker!
VERY happy with my AW3225QF, coming from a PG32uqx. GLossy is always better
One thing really dissapointing about the asus monitor is that power delievery stops hdr and usb fuctions. I don't understand why this should be the case as the dell monitors that I use don't have this problem. On their website "**90 W Power Delivery only available when HDR and USB functions are disabled." this is really a critical weakness in the product.
i dont want monitors for gaming at all , i just want it to display 4k video for me to stream and chill , any suggestions?
So far I’m only looking at ASUS 4K 240 Glossy and Odyssey G8 4K 240
The LG seems like the winner to me with the higher brightness and 480hz mode. I've never had a screen with a glossy coating, Im not always playing games at night and can't always control light levels
“Ive never had a screen with a glossy coating” that explains it all
Yeah, it explains that he never had to struggle with awful, almost unusable and immersion breaking reflections on the screen 😉
Yeah, my glossy tv has as some pretty awful reflections during the day
Any info on the ppi of each one?
All the same at approx 140 PPI 😀
Hi will AUO make more dual driver monitor like Asus ROG 27aqn ?
How much of an impact does wearing white clothing have on the picture quality of a glossy QD OLED since it essentially turns you into a "light source"?
Really hate how everything is 16:9 or wider (16:10 is great for doing work and play).
at 4K or higher resolutions and 32inch or larger size, 16:9 is really not such an issue anymore.
16:10 vs 16:9 is a big thing for me too at 1920x1200 vs 1920x1080 and I'm sure people who stil have and use 2560x1600 monitors, but nowadays people like us are probably in a very small minority.
That said, I would not mind seeing a 3840x2400 monitor or, better yet in a few years, 7680x4800 monitor capable of integer scaling of all the standard lower resolutions (funnily enough, both 16:10 and 16:9 !)....ok yeah, now I realize even more that 16:10 is net superior to 16:9. :)))
@@edfort5704 Indeed. The only reason "main stream" users "prefer" 16:9 is because thats a)all they can buy and, b)all they told they should buy and, c) because they do very little with their displays like most mainstream anything users do.
4k and 32" still is annoying/frustrating and less ideal regardless. Its teh aspect ratio that is key not the resolution. I use 4k 16:9 32" displays already and its a dream coming back to my 30" 16:10 display (and also using a Surface thats of similar AR).
i've put a bit of thought into the resolution issue you mention. I think 5120x2880 @ 34-36" would be a sweet spot for now. DP2.1 with 240Hz for clean 1440 scaling for "fun use" and 120Hz native resolution for everything else (can fit A2 at 1:1 scale).
I'll have 4 right off the rip please manufacturers. lol
Does the eARC support on the Alienware monitor mean we can finally plug TV Atmos 11.1.4 etc. soundbars to our PCs!? That would be amazing. Though it's curved so I'll skip it...
Yes it should do 😀
I find it strange that the LG model doesn't have USB C input
do you think the grey/magenta raised black of QD-OLED in bright environments a deal breaker?
People are saying it's a non issue for normal work related tasks / browsing when in a brightly lit room.
If you want those inky blacks for gaming / media then just make sure there's no direct light in front of the display.
Interested to know as well
@@DonDOOM4 or dont you think i should buy w-oled? I need it for color grading
@@AhsanZafar Depends on your work environment and light preference. For 100% accurate colors you'd want to have as dark of a room as possible anyway. QD-OLED does have superior color accuracy and a noticeably higher color volume compared to W-OLED.
The best TV on the market is QD and it's not even close, so of course it's a non-issue.
I've heard the raised blacks on QD-OLED panels also tint the screen magenta. If that's the case, how much does this affect the color accuracy in a brighter room?
I heard it just makes black look more of a really dark gray than true black and it takes away from the contrast a bit so if you have a super bright room or setup it may be better with a woled
Heard... Hahaha. You both have zero experience with QD-OLED I see. QD-OLED is the best panel tech right now and probably won't change anytime soon since WOLED even with MLA is way behind on colors and overall image quality. LCD is completely crap in comparison to both QD-OLED and WOLED.
@@Dr.WhetFartsSeems like you're the one that's behind. QD-OLED has more saturated colors, but contrast absolutely goes out the door if you don't live in a dark basement. Some regular people may want to use their expensive monitor during the day without the curtains closed.
I honestly don't see a mass market need for these monitors. While LCDs dont look great at 60 hz and feel choppy, 60hz on an OLED is perfectly acceptable. 120hz is damn near perfect. with games getting more and more demanding from both the CPU and GPU side with AI integration and path tracing, I think 4k 60hz will show itself as the preferred target. not because we cant run faster, but because there is so much more we want from our game, and 60hz OLED is fast enough
BFI support confirmed by asus rep for "all monitors", i assume it includes the qdoled
Possibly yes although that model wasn’t covered in the CES announcement where ELMB was promoted so it’s unconfirmed at the moment
on the PG32UDCM store page there is no indication of bfi
As usual, great video! As much as I want an OLED monitor now/sooner than later, I feel like I need to wait for the LG 45" UW OLED coming Q4. The thought of converting back to a 16:9 32" sounds partially plausible in my head, but I just don't know if I can do it. The other thought is to get the PG42UQ OLED, as owners on Reddit have stated the V40 firmware has fixed HDR and the standby issue. I wonder if ASUS will update it with the new WOLED subpixel layout and MLA...🤔
whats the current best 1440p oled monitor out rn in your opinion? warranty and everything coming into play aswell
My current pick, also shared by Tim at Hardware Unboxed as we talked about it on his podcast recently, is the Asus PG27AQDM
@@tftcentral do you think the new alienware 1440p 360hz monitor competes with the previous woled monitors?
@Abyss-mu4vk yes those should be very interesting options
Alienware 1440p 360 Hz QD-OLED no question.
Does anyone know if any other of the oled options share the same competitive screen shrink mode feature as the gigabyte?
Windowed mode borderless and custom resolutions exist. Also, for burnin it is recommended to actually not use less than the full screen by other brands.
which panel display is your choice ? is it LG WLOD (MLA) OR SAMSUNG QD-OLED 3RD GENERATION ???
It’s very tricky to answer as there’s pros and cons of each as the video covers. I think on balance right now my preference personally would be a QD OLED panel.
@@tftcentral thank you for your honest answer.
The Dell Alienware has a 1700R curve, not an 1800R one.
I stand corrected. But very close anyway 😀
For me, the HP Omen Transcend is the obvious choice if it does include DP 2.1. 3 year burn in warranty, Dolby Vision, KVM, glossy, flat. Everything I could want in a monitor of this size.
Any news about the 4K 27" 240hz oled?
Those won’t be until 2025 I’m afraid
@@tftcentralI see, thanks again for your great content.
In theory, aren't all monitors now with upgradable firmware after Dell worked with Nvidia to update the aw34dw through the display cable?
That was related to the use of a Native Gsync module, and that’s not being used on any of these
WOLED gets brighter but with the white oled, colors wash out which defeats the purpose of getting bright in HDR altogether.
True, that is the problem with WOLED. The white subpixel.
Are the new 27-inch QD OLED panels Samsung, Dell, MSI and Gigabyte, right or is there someone else? I'm looking for a semi-glossy screen
All the 360Hz 27” models are QD-OLED with standard semi glossy coating apart from the Samsung model where they’ve added a matte coating. Same situation as the 32” versions basically
@@tftcentral Thank you very much, and for you, is the semi-glossy one much better than the matte one of the Woled ones or what is your opinion? I saw the video but I don't understand English very well. Oh and then from qd oled 27, those 4 brands that I told you are the only ones that will make them, right?
is Dolby Vision HDR matter? if they game doesn't have Dolby Vision, it's useless right? is it there just for movie watching?
It would only be of value if you had content that was mastered in that format. Streaming TV apps like Netflix support it for instance, although you'd probably need an external streaming stick for that as it doesn't work from the PC app. some games on consoles also support it too. Consider more of a feature for external media devices, rather than anything from your PC
Now do "which is the best 32" non-OLED monitor for you"
Do you know if the 27" 1440p 480 Hz WOLEDs will be available in glossy or Gorilla as well?
For now only matte
@@EnriqueIglesiasBG that's sad
@@Flank.Sinatra.too bad, I was set on buying this one. But we'll have to look for another manufacturer using that panel.
@@pirx9798 there will be at least one manufacturer of 31.5" 4k/1k 240 Hz with Gorilla coating. can't remember the name. Hopefully for 2k 480 Hz as well
@@Flank.Sinatra. you probably mean Dough, formerly Eve. Sounds good on paper, but given their track record I would buy their monitor only if it's available on Amazon or other large platform.
Tell me can you play a game at 2k resolution on 4k screen on 240 hz?
Yes you should be able to lower the resolution to 1440p or 1080p and use the 240Hz refresh rate 😀
The Asus is the one I'm waiting on. I've owned the Alienware AW3423DW for about 2 years now and it's been great just want to try out the 4k, 32 inch flat screen and the higher refresh rate.
Any burn in probs ?
You did not include the innocn and aorus 32in oled model presented in CES? This one looks amazing by far. You should check it. Otherwise thanks for the video 👌
Gigabyte model was included in there. Haven’t seen much formal info about the INNOCN, so for now left that out
Innocn is also not sold in many markets
Why you didnt take speakers into the account as features of the monitors?
Only because they’re rarely of much use on monitors as they tend to be very small/weak. Did mention them for the HP and LG models where there’s been some focus on sound quality of note
@@tftcentral Thanks for the reply! Please can you provide the names of the mentioned models from HP and LG that house speakers?
@mach1one just the two covered in this video. Links in description too. The HP Omen Transcend 32, and the LG 32GS95QE
Probably the LG panel but I'll take the 42C4 for my single player games and for some slow paced fps like Hell let Loose.
I really want a 32 inch 1440p 120-170hz flat screen OLED/WOLED. Preferably glossy finish, but its not a deal breaker.
I'm afraid to downsize from 42 inches.
If it helps, it will likely be less painful. xD
No pricing info?
Only for the Dell that’s already available in N America and the MSI model that’s got pre orders in some regions
Does anyone know if the Alienware support DisplayPort Alternate Mode with its type c Port? Looking to pc game ,console game , and work on my Mac in one monitor 😂 idk if that’s possible with the calibration
No it’s a data port only. No DP alt mode video I’m afraid
Aw
if HP and Gigabyte end up being the same price ranges of $1199 and under, they easily gonna win the year. Doubt Asus will do any magic and increase peak nits over 1000. and HIGHLY doubt they will offer a New OLED burn-in warranty out of no where. they probably would have said that at CES
Asus managed to increase the brightness last year on the 27" models. They could have a trick up their sleeve this year as well.
@EnriqueIglesiasBG yes hence my point. They would have gloated at CES. so either they are not sure yet and through testing. Or they won't be. They also said at CES "it's shipping this month" so something seriously went wrong. And I doubt it's "shipping". As the AQDM was a nightmare PoS last year when it came out with awful FW AFTER they already delayed it bc of a previous awful FW
Those are ones I'm interested in - but they will likely be $300 more than MSI. That's MSI is already available for $899 to $949
@8020Alive I got the AW 32" for $1079
@@mz1929 That's a good deal. You should definitely be happy with that. All of these are great options. Congratulations
Notification gang
I hate that there has to be a damn compromise.
Go for qd-oled.....you've got the raised blacks but a nice glossy screen
Go for woled, you've got those perfect blacks but now a janky matte coating.
(*SCREAMS INTO THE VOID*)
its actually really easy to buff out the matte grain. if you like to DIY. go watch The Display Guy
The raised blacks are seriously not an issue as the amount of light required would also be a major issue on a WOLED due to glare, that’s what I say after owning one
@@mz1929I can't find the video you're referring to
@@houssamalucad753 it's a few weeks back. He gives more info on his patreon
@@Ranguvar13So with normal lighting without it being direct to the panel, the blacks and colors are perfect in QD OLED and better than in WoLED, right?
I would REALLY rather have curved but the price of the MSI with a 100 dollar steam gc for review is calling to me.
Adjust the monitor behind you. This tilt is distracting)
Really?! Sorry lol
QD-OLED really hurts my eyes... WOLED have a thick matte coating... I guess I will just buy the 42 c3 since it has fallen in price to below 1k with tax in my country.
No way am I waiting another 2 years for them to sort their shit out and just make a good product with a reasonable price. Anything more than 1k is ridiculous for a monitor, I bet there will be a lot of problems with this 1st gen as usual. Beta test on customers mentality will propably be in full effect.
I want glossy LG display ffs!
Have alienware 34 ultrawide qdoled love it but man the 32 4k is intriguing running with 4090 14700k
@@8020Alive Still a ways away from it being the same kind of sweetspot 1440p is, but it is for sure more accessible than ever now.
I returned the aw3423dwf and got the 4k 32. Best decision, 4k looks insane. I miss the ultrawide but the 4k’s too hard to pass up
@@camboxromeo9513 man you making me thing of swapping lol. I have until Friday to return but got the ultrawide open box for $667
Now i have a reason to get an RTX 5090
At this team, the only good answer for me is the alienware with its curved panel.
What the f am i meant to use for productivity too?
Matte is not always the same and glossy is not always the same. You should decide individually and not let strong voiced UA-camrs dictate your opinion.
Agreed although in the context of these OLED screens (apart from the exceptions cited), they do have the same coating across the different panels.
So nothing really on the horizon this year if you want a non-burn-in monitor with better picture quality. LCD is dead now?
Why don't you think anyone is using a polarizer? DFR is what I'm looking forward to reviews of (for a mix of modern AA and older (90s or early 2000) games that will take advantage of 4k on the modern and 1080p on those older ones.
