Every Wii Cup, 2 people get eliminated. Every Retro, 1 person. I am the host of the room and my goal is to be the last one standing. The subscribers try to knock me out. If they do so, the remaining subscribers win! Every KO tourney will have a different theme :)
This tournament was made up of Twitch subscribers and UA-cam members! (The "Join" button next to Subscribe)

@@jamesss8656 automatic is the other option to manual. In manual you drift and hop, handling doesnt matter much in manual, however in automatic handling is a big thing, and drift is less important.

Back when I used automatic I thought I was SO good, then I realized the truth.
Yeah, you can't beat the control, the mini-turbo and the hopping out of wheelies into corners without effort. Manual is just the way to go.

I can't say which vehicle(s) pair best with automatic drift, but I can tell you from experience that the Wii Wheel pairs well with it. The B button turns into an item trigger, which allows for easier rearview while dragging items behind you. Plus the angle that you turn the wheel is a more obvious difference between turning and drifting, much more obvious than an analog stick. How sharp you turn determines how sharp you turn.
I mained automatic Wii Wheel for the first 9 years of my Mario Kart Wii career. I should know a thing or two.
I had a thought, the blooper doesn't really have much of an effect in Mario Kart, especially in the newer ones. What if it lowered the handling of the vehicle, making it actually worth using it, and to try and remove the ink.
Yes, I have thought that as well. It does slow down the CPUs. Imagine if a Blooper blocked the screen, slowed opponents slightly, and lowered handling. It would actually be a pretty great item!
@@MontagnaMagica Does it still slow them down in MK8? I know it did in DS but I'm not sure if that applied to the Mario Kart games after it.
@@markymark443 they don't move slower in MK8, but they do start swerving, which makes their routes slower by default.
In 8, Blooper lowers your traction
So if you're racing in Sherbert Land with a low grip combo...

I started playing this game in 2010 and I was 5 then lmao now 14 and I've always been Automatic I'm just used to it. I've tried manual but I can't get used to it maybe because I'm on the wii wheel. Especially with goldens I can't get used to manual
I used to be like that, try the nunchuck, I found Manual so hard on wheel but the nunchuck made it a lot easier. Also try use bullet bike. I felt that was the best to use in order to get used to manual.

I played Mario Kart Wii for years and years and have still never played manual. This video is simultaneously speaking to me and making me mad at his inexperience with automatic.

I'm pretty sure the spear turns tighter using automatic than using manual, making it the best vehicle in the game on automatic.
I do prefer the "boring" races, because the "entertaining" races piss me off. Watching someone get comboed hurts my soul

Funny bit of trivia, if you're playing on automatic with the wii wheel you can't do a stand-still mini turbo because on the wii wheel you drift with b but if you play on automatic you can use b to throw items.

I know that this is from a long time ago, but playing on automatic, looking for an ideal vehicle you want speed, acceleration and weight. Bikes are obviously better, but since drift is nullified by automatic, the flame runner isn’t as good. If you ever play automatic again, this is something to maybe remember
