In this episode we had the absolute privilege to be joined by @AdamDouglasOfficial. We got a request for "Still The One", and figured Adam would be the only one who could pull that off. And he certainly did!
We were enjoying hanging out so much that we forgot to pay attention to the frame, resulting in Mari spending most of the video covered by the mic. Oh well, you live and you learn...

Do you credit Twain because it is her interpretation that inspired your own interpretation? (You know I'm ancient, I still flash back to Orleans (mid-'70s). The song was written by lead John Hall's wife Johanna.) Frankly, I prefer yours and Twain's these days -- much more fitting for the sense of the lyrics than the pop original (says someone in his 46th year to his Still the One).

Spørsmål til Tor Egil - er det noen triks for å få slik "mellow" tone på banjoen, foruten å spille uten fingerplekter?
Takk for spørsmålet! Det aller viktigaste er kanskje at openback-banjoar, som eg brukar, let meir "mellow" enn resonator-banjoar. Ein kan også sette på litt tjukkare skinn (fiberskyn), som bidreg til at den let mindre skarpt.
Eg trur det er dei to viktigaste elementa. I tillegg kan ein eksperimentere med ulike stolar og dempe overtonar slik eg har gjort med skumgummi bak stolen der.
Berre sei frå om det er noko meir du lurar på! :D
