- A new Family Session is up and running on the internet! We did this dark and beautiful @MadrugadaOfficial ballad together with our musical family Christer, Silje and Thomas. In some ways it fits todays mood. We can’t wait to go on tour supporting this wonderful band, yet it also feels disrespectful and absurd to promote a European tour given what happened in Ukraine today.💔 But what do we have if not music to comfort and lift our spirits in trying times.
Make sure to catch the ending as well, where the baby sitter rings the door bell with perfect time and pitch, after a stroll with Chris and Siljes baby. Haha! The perfect live moment.

I was really touched by the serene sound, the love put into in, the guitar play and her mesmerizing both soft and strong voice and the beautiful harmony of the vocals combined. The shared energy lifted this song up to a whole new level right then and there. When a cover is performed as an ode to the original than this will probably be a beautiful gift to Madrugada showing respect for their art.

I stumbled on you in a completely by accident. I was at a restaurant eating a chicken sandwich and I heard a cover of Never My Love. I could tell it was not the original but I had no idea who was doing it, so when I got home I started searching every version of the song until I found yours. And, of course, that led me to more and more Family Sessions.
I've listened to this song too many times to count and the hairs on my arms stand up every time once the accompaniment and harmony kick in.
How is it that every song that I hear from you is always better than the last one? Listening to your music has a way of dissolving politics and aggression and hardship and all the things that make life so difficult, and I'm left with a sense of appreciating those close to me.
Your music is a soothing and much needed escape. Don't stop!

02.12.05 møttes min nå avdøde samboer og meg på The Deep End, konserten til Madrugada i spektrum. Vi var begge 20. Vi kjente hverandre ikke, men fant hverandre under denne sangen. Livet ble ikke som ønsket! Men, denne sangen minner meg om den vakreste perioden av livet mitt! Har unngått å høre den, for den vekker så mange minner, mellom de aller beste og de aller verste. Tilfeldigvis spilte en kollega denne versjonen, og jeg hørte det. Så nå har jeg hørt hele flere ganger, og kjenner at alt det gode denne sangen gav meg, er det eneste som jeg kjenner nå. Tusen takk, Darling West. Det betyr mer enn dere kan forstå. KTF.
