Love your video! Working from home is awesome! I raised 2 Aussies, both did great potty training and started roaming free in the house without damaging anything. Enjoy life with Winston! Best wishes!
Absolutely amazing videos! Especially this one. Just got a full time job that is work from home, and looking at getting an Aussie, this video helps alot!
I work from home but work in IT. Was thinking of getting a mini aussie the end of the year but not sure how my time will be managed. I have to constantly study and upskill plus I’m thinking about starting school. I go to the gym but that’s early in the morning. Should I still get a puppy this year or until I get my degree? Gonna do WGU so it’s gonna be at my own pace.
Having a puppy is extremely time consuming and completely changes your life style. Your going to have to take them potty very often (even in the middle of the night) you're going to have to train them and if you don't it will cause problems down the road. They have a lot of energy so you'll need to set time aside to play. So I would wait until you're finished school and wait until you have the time to look after the pup and are up for the challenge, because it won't be fair for either of you.
@@winstontheaussieshepThats awesome! I wish Kenji would stop biting me, I’ve tried redirecting, chew toys, not giving him attention when he is biting, but nothing has worked. I guess he is having a really hard time teething
@@winstontheaussieshep we caved in an allowed him to have a pair of old socks tied together to tug at these last couple days and that seems to have started to calm to nipping at me. And I see some progress in the nipping stopping in general! It definitely is a process
You have a real knack for explaining things clearly. Keep it up!

Glad I can help 🙂! You won't regret it
Nice video and great to watch Winston. What is the food you were talking about. Can you provide a link? I am getting a mini Australian Shepherd soon.
Awesome! We use Purina for his paté and for his kibble, we use stella and chewy

Did Winston nip a lot?
The only time he nipped was when he was around 4-5months old and only when I would run away from him. I think his herding instincts came in

Keep at it trust in the process! Have you tried a tug rope? Winston goes crazy for that
