For as long as I can remember, I've had a constant intrusive voice in my head telling me to do something that will cause me long-term harm. There is now a drug that makes that intrusive voice go away. Why would I not want to take that? What do people think food noise is? What other disease do we tell people not to take the meds because there is less effective treatment?

I'm a diabetic. Eating a carnivore diet stopped the food noise in my head. Now I'm dealing with my emotional baggage that the food noise was masking.

Four years ago, I weighed 150 kg. I underwent sleeve gastrectomy and lost a lot of weight, dropping to 75 kg. People even told me I needed to gain some weight because I looked too thin. During that time, I was also using Saxenda and following a keto diet. However, I started gaining weight again gradually. Despite trying keto, intermittent fasting, and even sticking to a carnivore diet for two years, I couldn't stop the weight from coming back. Now, I'm 130 kg and have started using Ozempic, which I believe will work since Saxenda was effective for me before. If you're thinking of using a carnivore diet to lose weight, based on my experience, you might regain the weight in about two years as your body gets used to the new diet and you begin to eat more. I hope it's different for you, but that's been my journey with these diets.
