Gaawd tournament golf is so hard -- keep doing your recaps, look for areas to improve and it will all fall into place soon -- so hard not to put pressure on ourselves but we always do!

Try "aiming" with the left ear, which can serve as the "third" eye. Dogs and cats use their ears like eyes. Cats can rotate their ears to point in the direction of some sound, just like humans turn their eyes. For full shots, the left ear turns slightly to the right of target, as the head rotates a little to the right at the top of the backswing for a full driver swing. This prepares for an inside-out swinging during the first phase of the downswing. The left ear then points in the direction of the target after the weight shift on to the left leg just before the release-phase of the downswing starts. The left ear points to the target during the release to impact. After impact, the left ear points more and more up and left during the follow through.
For golfers who started playing baseball or softball before taking up golf, it is necessary for them to realized that in golf, clubface loft and clubface angle are "linked" unlike in using a baseball bat. For example, excessive hitting-down will also close the clubface more than intended, while scooping up will also open the clubface more than intended.
