I like how Mike always stresses the important life moments people have had with their items. We all have those... and we all have those relatives that we miss. Great job Mike, what a legit guy.
I've done the Full Restauration of THIS 1967 XKE now brand new so amazing to discover this video 🥰 and just share by Phone with Bobby, What a great day today
Mike is a really stand up guy
pity he cant pronounce jaguar correctly
Lol
Rage Theatre2020 agreed. He sux!
Frank is cool too, I like them both.
@@djquinn11 me too I like Frank even when he took a handful of xanax and was arrested driving on the opposite side of the highway..no judging...I'm just saying I agree...cool guys
Bro the memories this guy had with his dad involving this car; I wouldn't sell it for a million bucks
Saddens me this guy wouldnt just get it running and cruise it. 1 life to live pal.
agreed its an insult to the father that he didn't at least do the basic maintenance to keep the car running. or guy should have sold the car if he wasn't up to the challenge.
I always wanted one. Too bad not matching numbers. Love the color
Bobby knew how proud his dad would be proud of him
In the late '60s, a neighbor of ours in Sacto. must have been a Jaguar dealer. He had up to three parked outside his house and one in the garage. A maroon, green, brown, and black. They were absolutely gorgeous!
Definitely a heart-warming clip. Thanks for sharing, HISTORY.
Wow, what a nice guy. He gave his friend number.
Rest In Peace Frank Fritz.
Man with the memories this guy has and shared with us about it is incredible and man to part with it would be near impossible. Please let us know if he has it and the plans!
Incredible it was his old mans car meh
"Jag Wire."
I laughed so hard I spilled my tea😄
Especially since jaguars are indigenous to the Americas and the Maya pronunciation was “jag-wire”. The English are hilarious.
@@djquinn11 Cheers!
We're still trying our best to teach the colonists about comedy, grammatical & political satire. A bit difficult at times, but unlike the Yanks... We start at the beginning and finish when the job's done.
Here's wishing you a cracking good evening.
@@TenFalconsMusic : Cheers mate, I’m actually a duel citizen of Ireland and the US so I’ve lived in a few of your colonies.
@@djquinn11 Lucky you. Having access to County Cork & San Diego to kip. I'd gladly give my left anything for that honour.
WOOOOW AMAZING 💯💯👍👍👌👌
I know an older gentleman who lives right next to my school who has a 1964 convertible that he’s had since 1966. It was restored a few years ago and I’ve even sat in it, for an at the time 5’7 230 pound teen I would say that the car is quite a snug fit.
I remember back in 1978 a neighbor had a 1963 XKE for sale. It ran but needed some TLC. Asking price was $700.
HEY THAT'S,,,,,,,STEVEN SEGAL'S BROTHER 😀
Enjoyed viewing.
I know this show is scripted and all; but for me that doesn't take anything away from the nostalgia of the show. Mike and Frank are great guys. They put a good show together. ...along with Danielle. Love this Series!
I remember Tony Danza driving this in (She's out of Control) it was awsome
Gorgeous EType!
No-one can understand why Jaguar haven't resurretced it!
XF looks a bit ETypy from some angles but the early 2 seater hardtops were the most beautiful car ever...
Maybe... just my feeling here.... Is that Jaguar understands the perfection of the original and to even try to resurrect the E-type, and do it justice, requires the original perfection to be duplicated and thus is impossible.
The owner sounds like Chum Lee!!
I know right. I had to do a double take.
Omg that paint color
Good work nice
This guy's father live next door to my family in Linden New Jersey in the 70s and the early 80s. In 1981 my mother was selling our house and this guy's father his name was Bobby he was secretary to the pagans, Bobby offered my mother this jaguar and $40,000 cash. My mother turned him down because she said she had three kids and she would have no idea what to do with the Jaguar LOL she makes jokes about it now she could have turned around and sold that car for a ton of money. R i P Bobby
they seem so familiar, but as a cop, not a pagan, wrong NJ Bobby.
Nothing turns folk's heads like an EType driving by.
1970 XKE is a hard car to find and maintain
@@gregpuryear8163 I see XFs around but they don't turn heads like an EType.
I've had my Series 1.5/ 2/68 E Type for 30 + years. Just exciting to drive & own. Don't think the headrest is correct for '67.
A lotta Mike!!!
The world is too LOUD!!!!!!
The connection was so strong that he does not even know where his father got it from???
The thing about Enzo is if you bought a Ferrari from him, he would give you ZERO customer service afterwards. He was someone only a mother could love.
Means so much to him that he stores all his garbage in it.
And here's me, wishing I could find my dads old car to buy it... rip
Frank: you are a Dork!
Decent guy Mike. 👍🏻🇬🇧
Mike and dufus Frank are both thieves
Looks like Steven Seagal's brother...lol
randy silva he sounds like Chumlee when he talks
A skinny brother
Once it’s gone it gone
The Jag owner kinda looks like Steven Seagal
Looks like the singer of creed.
I like Mike
Sorry, he's married.
@@_._._._._._._._ 😂
The broad stroke? I'm listening...
people over restore these cars. I like them better rough around the edges
Mine was restored in the late 80's, but I like how it shows some age these days. A vintage car that looks brand new just doesn't have much appeal for me, either.
That car is more than rough around the edges and restoring classic cars properly is expensive
Beautiful car, its not have to be perfect, i would not paint it or do anything expensive, just make it running, fix some rust and brakes. Drive and enjoy the Jaguar!!!
N G looked like she needed a top other then that like you said get it to run nice put brakes and what is needed. that paint might come out looking really nice. clear it of course. something like that you don't want to mess around with to much. I loved that car! Also he has a grate story to go with it.
It's been sitting a long long time everything will have seized up or rotted
It would take you at least 24 hours to get that car to run the biggest obstacle course would be that of Lucas ignition system and Lucas wiring system and points and condenser and plus two you have to understand that the grounding in these cars is not negative but positive so it could take you a long time plus pulling your teeth and your hair to get the car to run that's why I would never own an English car not from those years not even today's English cars I would not own one.!!!!
Steven seagals lost son
Was thinking the exact same :-):-):-)
Na he would have been eaten
whats a jagwire?
Its a cousin of the JAGWAR and 2nd cousin of the JAGWARE ( in the USA)
Bobby talks like Steven Segal
come to england pretty much every town has a e type
They made more than 72 thousand of them.
steven siegal with a mullet
What would it cost to have it done?
Dang, 3 SU Carbs. What a mess to balance.
I didn't know Steven Seagal was into Jags
How much if i wash the car and fill the tank with gas? 45 dlls more 😂😂
I would never sell something like that I dont think I could
No need to look at the engine number, the cam covers are an S2 engine not S1
"Jag-Wire" *eyeroll*
I used to have a Mk II Jag here in the US & got so sick of hearing people saying Jagwire I stopped driving it & eventually sold it.
This is serious !
I learned to drive a standard in a 1967 Jaguar XKE! It was a beautiful "Primrose Yellow" with Black leather interior. Thought I was going to kill myself. Love the car and it's memories I'll always grasp on to.
My mom just bought a sport car convertible
Sorry- had to hit stop as our American cousins cannot pronounce Jaguar
Scott stapp Steven seagal hybrid
He just let that car rust 🤦♂️
then why is it wrap up and in a shed
Mike wants to steal this car
The right engine adds 5k? must not be thatttt important to collectors
Listen more closely with matching numbers and restored 125 grand
What's Bobby's last name?
Hendrix he was from.linden new jersey. He was a freaking awesome guy.
Look out back in the weeds, mebbe the ole mill, is lurking in the junk pile.
Jagwire?
Hey
Well as far as I can see that’s a Series 2. So the engine would be the original.
You don't know what you're looking at. It's series 1 with a series 2 engine.
No- it's a Series I. Toggle switch dash, covered headlamps, lights above the bumpers... there's nothing about it that looks like a SII. The late I's had some wacky transitional differences like modified open headlights etc... but certainly not a SII. Personally, I prefer a SII...
Skrutinizr Yes, sorry guys, I stand corrected
The biggest crooks next to pawn stars
You clearly have no idea how trade works.
So far from the truth
jaguar a big cat or the bike a panther
Eye lyke Innglish karz 👍
His numbers are way off. A scrap series 1 is 60k all day and this is far from scrap. Nobody would give a rip if the numbers matched.
Matching numbers makes a difference dude.
Matching numbers mean more to American muscle car people- but the Jag folks rarely care that much. The subculture of number-matcher geeks within the vintage Jag community are certainly the minority and I've found there's little actual value difference.
@@skrutinizr9372 Matching numbers will always command a premium regardless of the make.
@@matthewseaver4709 That's simply not true. I've dealt in exotic and unusual cars for many years. There are many cars where there are no reliable records to tell what the original engines etc were. Some cars have a tapped market there's no high end demand. Look at MGB's- there's maybe one person in the market at any given time willing to pay extra for a matching number car and there's no 100% reliable way to ensure it has the originals. While people who want the best available specimen for a collection might pay more for a completely matching car- it's only true for certain cars and buyers. 95% of the market for XKE's are for driver quality, not $250K museum pieces and while "matching numbers" is a nice discussion point it's not going to change the value much, if at all. Only maybe 1% at most of the car buying market cares. I've sold many, many exotic and collector cars and never once had anyone care.
@@skrutinizr9372 While I agree the majority of people buying classic cars are buying them to drive, a matching numbers XKE is always worth more. Always, always, always. You can pretend that they're not, but they are. It's not even a sensible argument that you're making. There are a ton of variables like condition, history, etc which make the argument hard to quantify, but if you're saying two of the exact same cars come up for sale, in the exact same condition, and the matching numbers car doesn't command a premium, you're flat out wrong. Especially in this example where the engine is not only not matching, it's from a different series. I'd say it's 1% of the market that wouldn't expect a discount for a non-matching car. I have non-matching cars, I'm not fooling myself thinking they're worth the same as matching cars.. why would they be? I didn't pay as much for them.
How does that guy even have a house. I need to call the us gov. They missed it. They usually take your house, leave you with nothing.
I hear ya give it some time it'll happen then he can live for free see how we helped you !
There is no w in Jaguar It is not pronounced Jagwire
Why try and get a car of this value appraised, filthy, with hood and boot opened?
From what I can see it looks really ratty spend 50 thousand or so might be worth half that much on a really good day
Jagwire lol
Ohhh ya first
Jesus christ when's new series ?
Stop using God name in vain . Pathetic
Both are crooks
If you pay $45k for an XKE like this you are out of your mind. There's easily 500 hrs labor and some parts. Beware the Jaberwock. $30k is too high but close, $20 ish
Есть русские ?
Mike's " numbers"are always low
He hasn't got$45000
You know that how??
@@bigkiwial Mike is that you?
He’s a multi million air
Enzo said the “E type” the most beautiful car, Americans decided to call it xke. Which, well that’s just wrong.
Americans didn't decide to call it anything - Jaguar decided to market it as an XKE in the states.. and if you really knew anything you would know it's a more appropriate nomenclature based on the C-Type and D-Type being race cars. The E-Type was a continuation of the XK product line, so XK-E actually makes more sense.
You don’t know how to pronounce jaguar so learn before you comment of cars
Jagwire 🤣🤣🤣🤣them yanks
Ooohhhh frank said tranny oohhh thats offensive. UA-cam gona get ya watch out oooohhhh
Mike likes Knuckheads because he's one.
Hey Mike, its pronounced Jag-U-ar, not Jag-wire. Wise up and git with the program...PAL!
It drives me crazy that he can not pronounce Jag U R instead of jagwire. WTF
Uh I'll give you $500
@LIN 256 why is he selling?
@LIN 256 $125,000 I'll give you$25
