Cheers Paul bro ! My Uncle Joe was the smartest.. and he was as tough as old boots ! ..some kids once taunted him in a park when he was in his 80's.. and he lectured them as to why they should not be loser drug addicts.. and I believe he convinced one of them to join the Royal Navy !! lol.. My Uncle was a CPO ..so I guess he had the ability to convince a youngster to do something they would have otherwise thought of as bollox !! 🤣😂 Cheers Paul mate !! 🍻
It’s good to remember our ancestors and honour them through storytelling! ❤❤❤Longevity runs in your family ! I hope I make it that long- perhaps I’ll be in Depends though 😂😂😂😂 Good to see you Andy👋👋👋❤
Blessings sweetheart !..I hope so too.. sadly I am blighted because my first wife was only 28 when she died of breast cancer.. and my cousin Rosalind died aged 48 of brain cancer. I live every day as if it was my last !! ..because I fear the shadow.. there is a great saying though.. ''Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.'' ..I think this is Psalm 23.. and although I am not particularly religious.. I remember this because I am just a bull💩ter ! lol Blessings to you and yours sweetheart ! X
Thanks ! ..My Uncle Joe was moored in Sydney in 1944 off the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the HMS Indefatigable R10 ..He had a fight with three Australians in a bar brawl !! ..and he punched the granny out of them !! 😂🤣 Blessings my dear friend !!
Thank you kindly ! They were top blokes !! My Uncle Alan was in Australia many times on the HMS Indefatigable !! ..he had a few bar room brawls in Sydney !! lol.. I think he won most of them !! 🤣💪😂
Fascinating men. Everyone was willing to serve their country then. I’m glad they did because we’d be living in a very different world had we lost. Thanks for sharing Andy. I see where you got your good looks. 😉
Hey sweetheart !.. my Uncle Arthur would have had you in stitches laughing.. he was so very clever and funny !! ..a genuinely lovely bloke !! His beautiful granddaughters Victoria and Juliet gave him a wonderful send off at his funeral.. they have obviously inherited some of his mirth !! X
Interesting video and glad that they all made it back home after the war. Is that your Mom reflected in the first frame? Seems kinda cool, being brother and sister.
Thanks Al bro ! ..No that's my Mum's neighbor Carol who was kind enough to take the photos.. my Mum is clocking 93 in November and has not got the ability to use a smart phone.. thankfully she lives in a mews where there are very helpful folk like Carol !
