one detail i've always thought was really charming was how pete says "my name is peter, but my friends call me pete" in the character select, meanwhile willow almost exclusively refers to him as peter
I did not know that. I have always played Pete so I didn’t know that’s how she referred to him lol 😂 thanks for sharing that
There is a Wendell tape that says a bee stole a shrunken hox of SCA.B.s & flew off with it & they're probably scattered about the yard. So, the SCA.B.s were mostly not worn by previous shrinken people.
Thanks for sharing that. I definitely forgot about that. I believe there are still a few that were worn by people in the yard, but I believe you’re right, that’s probably where the majority of them came from.
a game theory i just had, for the third hamster we haven’t seen in game. there is a high likelihood that it could genuinely be the sunken bones we find in the pond. maybe the kids didn’t want their parents to find out they accidentally killed a hamster (the first one) and chucked it into the pond so they wouldn’t find out. makes more sense than it being some random plastic dinosaur bones or something
That would be awesome. I hadn’t even considered that. I wonder if there is gum somewhere attached to a bone somewhere under the water? 😮

Burg.l calls Pete as his full name. If you say goodbye to him as Pete then he will say something like refrain getting eaten from spiders Peter Boggs!

@@herbalfangaming4472 I feel like people only hear one so they only believe in one. I only heard dad so I thought it said dad. Others are chiming in saying they hear mom. So it sounds like it’s both 😀

been a fan of this game forever, i've played grounded a dozen times over but still enjoy the recaps people do on it's background, it is well worth it to take the time to play it

The monster berry is a easter egg from early grounded as it was found behind an unopenable door

Secret 20 isn't a secret way to upper yard, it's literally called Upper Yard Ascent, you are supposed to go that way.
That definitely fair. I chose that one because I saw a post on Reddit about it a little while back. There was another dozen or so comments saying that didn’t know that it was there. As there is no question marker that tells you that’s a path up, and yet it’s fairly close to being in plain sight. It should be easily found, yet also can be easily missed if you don’t put the area name and the upward cliffs together. But to your point, perhaps not a secret, more of a clear path that can potentially be missed 😂
@@ChaosBearGamingit really can’t unless these people are following guides that tell them of an “easier route” the only way I know how to get to the upper yard is the ascent.
@@herbalfangaming4472 I think the easier route for most people is just freedom to build wherever they want. Pretty earlier on in grounded you learn that you can build as far and as high as you want. So if you can build up the wall with a few stairs. A lot of people may not look for a specific path. As there really is very few limitations on building. But yes it 100% is the “intended way”.
@@ChaosBearGaming idk what world you’re playing in but the weed stems for me are hella rare.
@@herbalfangaming4472 in the starting area by the bathroom scale, there is 3-4 that can be cut down with a tier 1 axe. Then by the fence posts near the oak tree, right next to the juice box, there is about half a dozen. The spiders are too far away and should leave you alone. That typically nets your around 30-40. Some of them only drop 4, others drop around 12. There is plenty more, but those are easily accessible from the day 1 without too much exploring.
When you climb the thisle you can jump onto the rosebush use a tuft to a particular branch and you can collect up to 8nectar at once
That’s a great tip, thanks for sharing that. I did a full resource guide a little while ago, but I don’t believe that crossed my mind. I know shooting down the petals with arrows was included, but I don’t think I mentioned the nectar outside of bees. Hopefully others see this as it is quite helpful 😀

plugging up the toxic tank is a must for the yard to spawn bur plants
you can also walk up the nozzle, there's no need to build
That is true. I always a find the haze annoying amd plug it and for the most part you can ignore the infected spider. You just got to be cautious around the tree.
Definitely a good point. It’s like the shovel by the picnic table.
I think the sunken bones in the Koi Pond tells us what happened to the other hamster that couldn't be found-

My thought on the 3rd hamster skeleton is that it was dropped into the pond, since that's where you find sunken bones

If I’m not mistaken in a voice like during multiplayer hoops calls Pete “Boggs” (I can’t remember the specific voice line)
That’s what others were sharing as well. I’ve never played outside of single player, so I didn’t know they had unique interactions like that lol thank you for taking the time to share that 😀
Helpful Gamer Tip
Haze lab door will be locked until manager key card is acquired and the button in the pond is pressed in the flooded locked door room ( Manager Key card can be acquired at black ant hill ) i was wrong the pond lab switch opens up the log lab the haze switch is located in the backroom of the haze lab

Grounded is a horror game really.
100%. The bugs are so frightening. The wolf spider easily takes the cake though for one of the scariest game villains ever 😂

Interesting. I don’t know how I missed that, I almost exclusively play as Pete. Thank you for the specific details. This is why community’s are great, because they can see so much more than just 1 person 😀

a shortcut implies it saves time over a different, intended way. so what is the intended way to get up the picnic table and to the upper yard if not the bombs you said were shortcuts.
I would say that they are in fact the intended way as it’s the easiest way. But not always the most obvious. The game constantly shows you that you can build anywhere and to anything. So I have seen, and I personally when I first started, just built stairwell after stairwell to get to anywhere and anything. However a simple bomb could save you hundreds of materials from having to build to those heights. To your point, I very much think this is in fact the intended way. But often times we go with what seems like the most obvious and easiest method which is just to build up there. Also, by default structural integrity is turned off so it’s not like we run into a issue building the world’s largest staircase 😂 I do appreciate your feedback, and I will be certain to consider how I present “shortcuts, or alternative routes in the future”.

@@ChaosBearGaming The wolf spider one, plank cliff next to oak branch in the lower yard. If I remember corectly there is some skeleton in this cave too. But my brain is lately in not that great as it was so sorry if I am wrong.

It’s on the edge of the haze, just outside of it. In between the haze area on the map (shows as a green circle) and the top right Corner of the sandbox (as shown on the map).

I would say that’s fair to an extent. I have seen at least one person not know each one of these things either in the comments on my videos, on other peoples videos, on Reddit or steam. (I research and read among the community a lot).
I would say for a big chunk of the population whos well versed with the game, then maybe only a few of these come off as secrets to them (and they probably already know them). But a lot
Of people who have played the game have either moved on or play a lot less. The same can be said for a lot of the content creators too. (Not every one of course).
But there still lots of newer players with the PlayStation and switch players who may not know a lot of these tips/secrets. I do appreciate you taking the time to give me feedback though. It sounds like I may need to write “tips/secrets” in the thumbnail if I do a future video like this.

As far as I know this door was added, then nothing was done with it. There’s a potato guy behind the door. There was another UA-camr who managed to see behind the door. And it’s a potato guy wagging his finger no at you.

That’s definitely a good secret, but I couldn’t find an associated Easter egg with it. Do you know what it’s supposed to be associated with? Everyone online was saying it’s not a reference to the forest.
Your voice is absolutely unbearable sometimes and you talk too damn fast and don't enunciate correctly so half the shit from this video is just a bunch of gibberish spat into a lesser than great quality microphone
That’s understandable, and I appreciate that feedback. Yeah some of videos I made in the first part of my UA-cam journey weren’t the best. As glad as I am that the video did well for what it was, I definitely wish I took more care with the format/quality. I did also really struggle with “script reading” vs just having a conversation/telling a story and being engaging. And yes the mic was not great. Again I appreciate your honest feedback. If you have time or are willing, I would request you check out my most recent grounded video where I cover the valentines event. I truly feel the quality of my content/audio/presentation has increased tremendously, however that’s just my thoughts. You seem like an honest person, so I wouldn’t mind more feedback if you’re willing to give it 😀
