Why, a blue hedgehog with 8 years of experience, 25 if you count the time Modern and Boom had at the time, a two-tailed fox that has some things in common with the rotund roboticist, those being that they're geniuses, they have a knack/thang (get it? because of the whole naming issue over a certain popgun-wielding jerboa?) for machines, they build multiple Extreme Gear in their Modern iterations, and their nicknames originated as insults from their enemies, the echidna, who, contrary to his later theme, does, in fact, chuckle, a flying squirrel who was last playable in a slippery arcade game and is overpowered here, and an armadillo who was last playable on a retconned platformer, and makes Heavy Rider and her trusty Jimmy into nincombots, of course!
