I'm so glad you were digging these OPs. Beside the prerequisite listening of the Re: Zero OPs, I would joyfully suggest checking out, if you haven't caught them previously. This is a fraction of the OPs that just I find unforgettable. 1. Some of THE classics- Darling In The Franxx, Sword Art Online(be sure its a full anime playlist, 9 OPs, 10 with the fanmade one for the movie), Domestic Girlfriend, Beyond The Boundary, Steins;Gate, No Game No Life 2. Some epic series- Toaru/A Certain Magical/Scientific Index/Railgun/Accelerator(make sure to find a completed and ordered playlist), DanMachi, TenSura, the main Fate titles, Demon Slayer 3. Isekai greats- Rising of The Shield Hero, How NOT to Summon A Demon Lord, Arifureta, So I'm a Spider, So What, Grimgar,bLums Kuma Kuma Bear 4. Badass fightin' songs- Goblin Slayer, Akame ga Kill!, Kemono Jihen, Jujitsu Kaisen, Steike The Blood, Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song, Shangri-la Frontier, Tokyo Revengers, Black★★Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall, Arknights 4. More chill drama/romance/comedy OPs- Bunny Girl Senpai, Pet Girl of Sakurasou, Horimiya, Loving Yamada at Lv999, Dangers in My Heart, Mrs. Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, Shadows House, Ya Boy Kongming, Call of The Night, Heavenly Delusion, Hell's Paradise Just a tiny list of OPs that are easy to love or jam to.
Love seeing you really enjoy the music. If you want to see a masterful way of blending English and Japanese elements, I recommend checking out a vtuber named Calliope Mori. She is fluently bilingual and blends them in Rap (and Metal in some cases). I would suggest "Excuse my Rudeness, but could you please RIP", "Off with their Heads", and "Overkill", but all her music is great. Anyway, keep up the great content. I look forward to seeing more. 😅
So...now, your next required/bingo card square OP is Re: Zero. The Overlord and Re: Zero openings are some the most spectacular anime music you will ever hear. I GUARANTEE that at least one of those songs will hauntyou/creep in your consciousnessat somepoint in the near future, once you'veheard the Re: Zero ones.
It's actually not quite Metal yet. Just heavy rock, I can see why you'd mistake it though. The vocals are too soft and the guitars are too slow to be Metal.
You should check out the Overlord EDs next. I also suggest checking out the OP and EDs of Youjo Senki and Re:Zero.
overlord ost is top tier
I agree. I would put it up there with Cowboy Bebop and very select few others. 🤔
All the openings are great but Openings 3 and 4 are my favorites of the series
