the character at 12:20 is not the princess, it's a bit hard to tell since a bunch of characters are from the same place and have blonde hair the imagery of a pure dark figure reaching to her is relevant to her storyline, the second and third ed's have a bunch of references that become clear after you see the story the illustrations were done by the artists who illustrates the light novel, he is really good
Haha yeah, I misjudged completely lol. I figured the imagery would be important, and that's why I loved these Endings so much, I obviously didn't have the context for the series in mind but it was a blast trying to figure out and piece together my interpretation of what the illustrations could mean. Also, the illustrations are beautifully drawn and any one of these drawings could very easily make a killer pc background lol. Honestly in terms of content to analyze, this might be my favourite content that I've checked out on this channel 😊💚

For example, while Albedo could be described as a thorny rose herself, your analysis of the thorn imagery representing her aiming for a goal she cant achieve, or being trapped in an uncomfortable situation isn't wrong either. That really does describe part of her character arc. So the visual metaphor in the ED of her wrapped in thorns could easily be pulling double duty. Albedo is an absolutely fascinating and layered character that raises very interesting philosophical questions. Despite appearances, she isn't just there to look pretty. Overlord likes to subvert expectations and tropes that way, because it is partially a deconstruction/inversion of the genre. So there are things that you will see in visuals that play against-type in reality. So again, don't feel bad for the odd mistake. Some are easy to make, and others are purposefully designed to be misleading.
The funniest part of this reaction is the invention of entire fan-fiction character traits/characters especially for albedo based on the art. The entire Overlord soundtrack is great, my opinion on Overlord openings is ever changing depending on my mood at the time, but for Endings I have a pretty set preference #3 Silent solitude>#2 Hydra >#1 L.L.L. > #4 No Man's Dawn. Though to be fair for me a large part of that ranking is the visuals and symbolism rather the song alone, and IMO the solo singer +slideshow style art of the 4th is unfortunately a step down from the other 3.
lmao I was doing my best to try to figure out what the artwork was trying to display, so I'm pretty positive I probably assassinated many characters and their personalities just based entirely from my yapping lol
If you really like analyzing op and Ed’s with deep story could you check out re zero’s openings and endings? There’s also 2 new ones out due to season 3. Re zero has some insanely deep symbolism throughout the entire story and as someone who’s personally read over 7000 books over all forms of media be it anime, light novels, novels, movies, tv shows, fiction, and non fiction, re zero is among the top three in character writing. The mc is one of the best in all of animanga, and with how much you like to analyze the scenes re zero would be an amazing one
My friend has asked me not to check out any of the other Re:Zero openings just yet because he plans to put them in some of the playlist videos I've been going through lol, but for sure I will be checking out more Re:Zero openings, and then I'll check out the endings!!

You need to marathon this before the movie comes out. It takes place in a part the show skipped. Keep in mind it starts a little slow and corny then moves to complex.
Basicly, it's only two singer both op and ed. Oxt and myth&roid. On first, second and forth opening is oxt. And third is myth&roid. On ed, first second and forth song is from myth&roid. On third song is from oxt. FYI, on ed forth is ex singer from myth&roid, so basicly its from myth&roid. 😂
Oh wow I had no idea the singer in the fourth was from MYTH&ROID lol, every single opening and ending was so well crafted combining visuals with the accompanying music, honestly such a joy to check out!!
